The new Park Hyatt Shenzhen is situated atop a 48-storey building, just next to the 115-storey main tower of Ping An International Finance Centre. The exterior of the building resembles “a dynamic glass and steel butterfly with its wings spread against the Shenzhen city skyline”. Located in the Futian central business district, the hotel is within walking distance from the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre and a range of shopping and entertainment outlets nearby. It is also easily accessible as the hotel has direct underground access to the city’s metro lines as well as Futian Railway Station, a major station on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link that began operation last September. The hotel has 195 guestrooms and suites located on levels 36 to 44, with sizes ranging from 48 to 299 sqm. Each guestroom features floor-to-ceiling windows with sky-high views of the cityscape, as well as contemporary Chinese design elements such as artwork, the lantern-style pendant lighting, and a mini bar that resembles a modern Chinese cabinet.
