Sir Richard Branson’s Ulusaba Lodge is the epitome of style and comfort in the bush and one of the most famous and luxurious safari lodges in the world. Ulusaba commands some of the most stunning views in the area combined with exceptional service. The first is Rock Lodge, perched high atop a craggy outcrop, provides panoramic views over miles of bush along with the wildlife. Within Rock Lodge is Cliff Lodge a two bedroom suite, perfect for some added privacy. Both Rock and Cliff Lodge are ideal for families with children of all ages who are welcome to join our Cub’s Club. Safari Lodge is built along the banks of the dry Mabrak riverbed and some of the rooms are built ‘tree house’ style and you really get the feeling of being in the heart of life in the bush. Your room will provide fascinating views of the animals as they stroll past on their way to the nearby watering hole. Activities at Ulusaba include day and night game drives in the reserves and it plays host to the Big Five, as well as a large variety of plains game, ensuring your safari is rich and varied. In the evenings, after a delicious meal, your ranger will take you star gazing in the lodges own purpose built observatory, so you can observe the heavens in the clearest of African skies.
