Kenya Itineraries
Overview

Kenya, located on the Africa’s east coast, is the iconic heartland of a ‘safari’. Spend your time surrounded by massive herds of wildebeest and the “big five” in the Maasai Mara in the South of Kenya, exploring the natural phenomenon of the Great Rift Valley which supports flamingo-covered lakes, the breathtaking landscapes and alluring culture of Laikipia and Samburu, and of course the stunning luscious coastline.
It can be argued that Kenya is the best destination in Africa for safari. The best spot for game-viewing all year-round is the Maasai Mara, in this location you’ll find big cats. However, during certain months it also supports to large herds of wildebeest in their yearly migration. Kenya has some of the highest numbers in Africa of “big five” game, which are the African elephant, African lion, Cape buffalo, African leopard and rhinoceros. The Great Rift Valley is located Northeast of the Mara, it cuts through the middle of the country, offering up glistening lakes and stunning landscapes.
Found at the foot of Mount Kenya, The Laikipia plateau is another fantastic location for safari, with healthy populations of rhino as well as some rare species of zebra, giraffe and antelope, it also supports a wide variety of fun safari activities, from riding safaris to walking with camels. What makes Kenya so wonderful is when you are finished with thrill of a safari you can head straight for the Indian Ocean coastline to relax on a stunning, powdery white sand beach.
