Namibia Itineraries
Overview

Namibia is truly a land of ever changing landscapes. It’s a photographer’s dream, offering up breath-taking scenery, fascinating local tribes and fantastic wildlife. Go on a hike to the top of a red sand dune at Sossusvlei, watch wildlife at Etosha’s waterholes, take a trip over Damaraland’s arid plains and rocky mountains and watch huge Atlantic swells sweep along the Skeleton Coast where the arid desert meets the ocean.
Namibia is a country home to diverse and extraordinary landscapes, ranging from rolling sand dunes and wild coastline to luscious, river-fed plains and striking mountains. It is perfect destination for travellers looking for an active, adventurous holiday.
We recommend visiting the Himba tribes in the Kunene region, trailing rhino’s and elephant’s in Damaraland, exploring the stunning Erongo Mountains or kayaking next to a colony of seals in Swakopmund. You can spend the day exploring the desert staking out a waterhole on the corners of Etosha’s chalky white pan, where wild ostriches appear like a mirage on the horizon and zebras flock together in their thousands while lions lie patiently to pounce.
If you’re looking for a slightly longer trip enjoy the South Kalahari and it’s impressive Fish River Canyon, as well as Kolmanskopp, which is a town being engulfed by the shifting sands of the desert. Finally, head north to the luscious waterways of the Caprivi Strip, where you can see hippos relaxing in the rivers and kingfishers perching on the banks.
