Hong Kong Itineraries
Overview

Hong Kong is a special administrative region situated on China’s southern coast, and it is enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea. Scratch the surface of Hong Kong’s rich culture and heritage and you’ll be amazed at the diversity. Although it was handed back to China in 1997, Hong Kong maintains some of its British heritage, seamlessly blending East and West cultures. Given its colonial past, its historical sites, museums, and excellent markets make it an interesting place for any traveller. A past punctuated by prosperity, colonial influences and war has made Hong Kong the amazing, and mysterious city it is today – packed with sights and sounds, the only problem you face in Hong Kong is where to begin.
Hong Kong has a wealth of fascinating attractions, including shopping for antiques in Stanley market, taking the funicular to Victoria Peak for stunning views of the city, visiting Hong Kong’s outlying islands for some of the freshest seafood, taking a mountain hike on the famous Dragon’s back trail with jaw dropping scenery, or jumping on the Star ferry or a junk boat cruise across the famous Victoria Harbour to witness one of the best skylines in the world. Then, of course, there’s the incredible cuisine: some of the best expensive fine dining in the world interspersed with cheap, delicious street food.
With some of the world’s finest luxury and boutique hotels to choose from, Hong Kong offers a perfect city break for a dose of urban glitz, designer shopping, haggle-friendly markets, sky-skimming architecture and trendy backstreet bars. Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated areas in the world, and remains one of our favourite, most vibrant, fast-paced global metro cities.
The New Territories in Hong Kong are full of country parks, stunning coastline, and there are also several temples in the area, including the famous 10,000 Buddhas temple. To go hiking, camping or surfing in this part of Hong Kong, is to completely forget about life in the bustling big city.
Hong Kong is home to The Luxe Voyager, and so when it comes to recommendations and insider tips, no one knows our city better. When booking your trip with us you are guaranteed expert, impartial advice and a fully bespoke itinerary.
