Overview
Monaco is located 20km away from Nice Airport, right on the edge of the Mediterranean sea, nestled between the Italian and French Rivieras and in close proximity to the Alps. Monaco is a great example that good things come in small packages, it is officially the second smallest country in the world, right behind the Vatican, it measures a minuscule 0.76 square miles and is controlled by the Constitutional monarchy which is headed by H.S.H. Prince Albert II. Monte Carlo, a district of Monaco, is home to the legendary Formula One Grand Prix.
Monaco is also known as the as the Millionaires playground, for good reason, it’s in a league of its own with numerous Michelin star restaurants and luxury boutiques upon the harbor front. Other famous attractions include the Grand Casino, the world-class aquarium, Musee Oceanographique and the art exhibition at the Villa Paloma. Outside of Monaco city itself the beautiful surrounding areas of France make it a great base to visit the medieval French villages or the stunning beaches of Cannes.
