What better way to take in the stunning Serengeti landscape than from the air? Wake up early (we’ll have a quick breakfast ready for you) for an hour-long, sunrise, hot-air balloon flight over the savannah, followed by a Champagne breakfast in the bush.



Walking Safari

Immerse yourself in the splendours of the Serengeti on an intimate new level during a 90-minute guided walk that shines a light on the wildlife sanctuary’s most subtle and unusual characteristics. Led by our Resident Naturalist, Masai guides and national park rangers, explore the beautiful landscape of Serengeti National Park as your guides point out animal tracks, insects and medicinal plants.



Retima Hippo Pool

Perfect for a short morning or afternoon drive, Retima Hippo Pool is located about a one-hour drive from the Lodge and is home to a large pod of hippos. Watch one of the Serengeti’s biggest mammals rest, play and fight in the shallow waters of a bend in the river..

Throughout the year, the landscape of the Serengeti National Park changes dramatically, from the lush nature of the green season to the barren savannah of the dry season, resulting in constant animal migration. fascinating creatures that inhabit the Serengeti. To allow you to spend the entire day away from the Lodge, you will
be provided with a delicious take-away lunch boxes.



Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Join one of our expert driver-guides on a full day adventure to the world’s largest inactive, volcanic caldera. The
Crater offers some of the best game-viewing in Africa and the chance to spot an elusive Black Rhino. You will drive
across the Serengeti Plains, through Maasai villages and also past Olduvai Gorge. To allow you to spend the whole
day away from the Lodge, you will be provided with delicious take-away lunch boxes. This safari requires an early
departure from the Lodge and involves a full day of driving from 6 am to 6 pm.



Maasai Village, Olduvai Gorge and ‘Shifting’ Sands Safari

Learn more about local culture; both past and present on this full day of adventure. You will game drive south,
cross the Serengeti Plains, where upon entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area you will start to pass colourful
Maasai, grazing their cattle while having an opportunity to visit one of the Maasai Bomas (villages). Proceed on to
the famous archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge, where you can visit the museum and learn more about the fossil
discoveries made famous by the Leakey family, before ending the day with a visit to the dunes of the “Shifting
Sands”, en route back to the Serengeti. To allow you to spend the whole day away from the Lodge, you will be
provided with a delicious picnic lunch. This safari requires an early departure from the Lodge and involves a full
day of driving from 6.30 am to 6 pm.



Moru Kopjes, Gong Rock and Maasai Rock Painting Safari

Join one of our expert driver-guides and one of the Discovery Centre’s Maasai on a three-quarter day safari to the
south western, Moru Kopjes area of the Serengeti. As well as beautiful scenery and perhaps the chance to spot
one of the elusive Black Rhinos that inhabit this area, your guide and Maasai escort will also explain about the
history and cultural significance of Gong Rock and the Rock Paintings. You will depart the Lodge between 6.30
and 7 am, returning between 2 and 3 pm – enjoying a picnic brunch at Gong Rock. (This activity is seasonal, as the
area may not be accessible during parts of the green seasons – please check to confirm

Why not book a Professional Wildlife Photographer to accompany your group on safari and offer advice and photo
tips; back at the Discovery Centre they can critique their work, offer editing and post-production tips, as well as
one-on-one workshops and, if desired, can even give a private slide show. Alternatively, they can simply take your
group’s photos, providing professional quality memories to share and remember the trip by (a videographer can also

Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is a fantastically luxurious property situated in the heart of Tanzania’s most famous safari area, the Serengeti National Park. Perfectly placed for the Great Migration, the lodge has 77 rooms and the full facilities of a Four Seasons property. After landing into Seronera Airstrip in Central Serengeti, a thrilling fifty-minute game drive through bush rich with wildlife awaits as you journey to the Lodge to arrive in the heart of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, entirely surrounded by the African plains. A luxurious retreat within an unspoiled wilderness, the Lodge is particularly well-suited for first-time safari travellers, extended families and groups.

While still intimate and easily accessible in scale, the Lodge has a total of seventy-seven guest rooms, suites and villas. Each room has an elevated open-air sundeck providing direct views over the Serengeti giving guests a private and intimate connection with the nearby wildlife and inspirational landscape. Adjoining the Lodge are two watering holes that are home to two troops of baboons as well as a host of other local wildlife. From the calmness and comfort of the infinity swimming pool, guests can gaze out over the watering hole that is regularly visited by a herd of around thirty elephants that seem to remain blissfully undisturbed by their relaxed and appreciative audience.

There are 77 guest rooms throughout the property, all enjoying fantastic views out over the Serengeti. The rooms have been decorated in a fresh contemporary style, whilst keeping in mind the African context. All feature four-poster beds with draped mosquito netting, as well as local textures and artwork. All rooms also have a private outside space, the suites and villas also have fantastic pools from which to take in the views. There is high speed internet and air conditioning throughout the property, flat-screen tvs and and a private refrigerated bar provide added comfort.
