Park Hyatt Sydney Pool

Careful and meticulous restoration of a part of the city’s Sandstone history introduces Capella Sydney. A metropolitan destination built on the tales of the building’s past, designed with contemporary, timeless elegance for the next chapter in its story. As well as luxurious space for our hotel guests, the Lands and Education Buildings also welcome visitors to its unique collection of historic spaces including the carriage way and the Plans Room. Capella Sydney accommodation celebrates its magnificent surroundings and respects the traditions of the building, mingled with contemporary design flair.

With 246 Deluxe and Grand Rooms, and One Bedroom Suites, there is a huge variety of space and design sensibility from which to choose. The former Plans Room is our signature space, its historic use as a central records office elegantly reinterpreted within the context of this majestic building. The interiors will reference the legacy of the Ministry of Lands and of intrepid Australian Explorers with hand-picked furniture, art pieces, artifacts and selected heritage pieces from the Lands Building’s collection.

ROOMS

The Park Hyatt’s 155 rooms and suites are spacious, uncluttered, contemporary and smartly designed, ranging from Park Rooms (some with balconies) to City Harbour and Opera Rooms with balconies offering staggering views. Deluxe rooms are larger and are more like open plan studios and Suites have the addition of a separate living room. All rooms feature: balcony, work desk, minibar, 40 inch satellite TV, Bose music system, phone, robes, hairdryer, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, safe, iron and ironing board and morning newspaper.
