In 1899, the palace was rebuilt under the name Spa Hotel Empress Elisabeth, after the famous Austrian Empress Sisi, a generous patron of the hotel’s construction. With respect to the hotel’s rich history and tradition, the property is now called Palace Elisabeth and features luxurious rooms and suites with stunning details and unique design, an indoor swimming pool, terraces, and a spa, all with unparalleled views of the town and harbor. The vast majority of the 45 elegant guest rooms and suites have seaviews, some with balconies. Interiors are tastefully decorated in muted tones of pale blue, soft grey and white and murals of foliage patterns hand-painted by the property’s interior designer, Oto Blaha. Armchairs, sofas and ottomans upholstered in tufted velvet in bright turquoise or saffron add surprising pops of colour. Viva Eufemia Lobby Bar
This is the main meeting point of the hotel with a bar in the centre, a private cigar lounge and a large terrace. Cissa Pool Bar

Katarina's Patisserie
Katarina’s sits right in the centre of the Lungomare Plaza’s hustle and bustle evoking the lively Mediterranean attitude. The cafe itself combines one of the best patisserie and ice cream parlour in town with a cosy coffee shop and an Italian-inspired “Day Bar”. It serves a variety of delicious cakes, coffee and ice cream as well as aperitifs and cocktails. The menu also features light snacks such as sandwiches, salads and quiches.
