ACTIVITIES:
Aman Le Mélézin’s ski in, ski out area offers equipment for hire and purchase, lockers for storing skis and snowboards, and heated boot racks. Ski butlers attend to each guest’s needs, laying out equipment as required each morning, and helping with any maintenance required. Private instructors,mountain guides, ski passes, transportation, restaurant reservations and more can all be arranged by the concierge.
Offering 600 kilometres of groomed pistes and more than a dozen cross-country routes, the world’s largest ski area encompasses Saint-Bon (Courchevel and La Tania), Allues (Meribel and Mottaret),and Belleville (Val-Thorens, Les Menuires and St.Martin de Belleville). Each area offers distinctive advantages: choose Val-Thorens for the highest slopes, or La Saulire in Courchevel for the best snow and some of the world’s most taxing black runs. Meribel offers excellent red slopes. A fourth valley, Maurienne, can be accessed by skiing or by gondola to Orelle. Snowboarders are well provided for at Courchevel, with its snow parks, snow rides and half pipes. Heli-skiing is also popular.
Aman Le Mélézin can assist guests with outdoor climbing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, paragliding and hang gliding . The Parc National de la Vanoise is nearby: Though there are no ski trails or lifts here,the scenery is beautifully unspoilt. In Courchevel 1850, guests can enjoy an indoor climbing wall,bowling alleys and ice-skating at the Olympic rink.
Courchevel 1850 is just 200 metres away from Aman Le Mélézin, offering guests a lively mix of convivial bars, chic boutiques and elegant restaurants. Lit from start to finish, the Courchevel toboggan run takes guests down the two-kilometre route from Courchevel 1850 to Courchevel 1550.

The Aman Spa at Aman Le Mélézin features five treatment rooms spread across an entire floor of the property. Double treatment rooms, a Thai massage room, a seasonauna and an authentic stone hammam and scrub room are accompanied by a state-of-the-art fitness studio, and a subterranean pool with Jacuzzis. A TRX-equipped yoga studio completes Aman Le Mélézin’s wellness facility. Aman Le Mélézin’s 31 rooms (23 with balconies) open via floor-to-ceiling windows to views of mountain, forest and piste. Recently renovated and completely refurbished, they offer a restful,elegant aesthetic with oak panelling, large dressing areas and French furniture. A third person can be accommodated in all rooms except the Chambre Junior, which offers twin beds. All other rooms and suites offer king-size beds, or twin beds on request.
