Aman Le Mélézin’s ski in, ski out area offers equipment for hire and purchase, lockers for storing skis and snowboards, and heated boot racks. Ski butlers attend to each guest’s needs, laying out equipment as required each morning, and helping with any maintenance required. Private instructors,mountain guides, ski passes, transportation,restaurant reservations and more can all be arranged by the concierge.
Offering 600 kilometres of groomed pistes and more than a dozen cross-country routes, the world’s largest ski area encompasses Saint-Bon (Courchevel and La Tania), Allues (Meribel and Mottaret),and Belleville (Val-Thorens, Les Menuires and St.Martin de Belleville). Each area offers distinctive advantages: choose Val-Thorens for the highest slopes, or La Saulire in Courchevel for the best snow and some of the world’s most taxing black runs. Meribel offers excellent red slopes. A fourth valley, Maurienne, can be accessed by skiing or by gondola to Orelle. Snowboarders are well provided for at Courchevel, with its snow parks, snow rides and half pipes. Heli-skiing is also popular.
