The rooms and suites are characterized by a refined decoration, with antique furniture and precious fabrics and all the comfort of contemporary luxury. Each has a unique character and an enchanting view of the park, the surrounding countryside or the outdoor pool. A fascinating dive into a past rich in art and history, in search of unique atmospheres and sensations. The 40 rooms and suites are divided between the Castle and the Orangerie.
All different, the 22 rooms of the castle differ mainly in size and comfort: Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite, Suites Chateau et Suites Galerie and Grand Suite Comte et Comtesse Duchatel. Renovated in 2016, L’Orangerie (adjacent wing) can be reached by the main lift and consists of the Spa, the Le Jardin Bar and 18 rooms (Classic, Superior), two of which are equipped and accessible for people with reduced mobility. An ideal choice for guests who wish to indulge in the pleasure of relaxation.
Classic Room: 25 sqm
Our CLASSIC rooms are located in the Orangerie, close to the Spa and to our outdoor pool and connected by a convenient elevator to the main building. The rooms are furnished with precious fabrics and have marble bathrooms with shower.
Superior Room: 25 - 30 sqm
The SUPERIOR rooms (between 25 and 30 square meters) are located between the castle (overlooking the countryside) and the Orangerie (with views of the outdoor pool and bamboo forest).
Deluxe Room: 35 sqm
The DELUXE rooms are all different from one another and are located throughout the castle. The view extends over the park, the precious furnishings give the feeling of being in the fullness of the castle’s life, the comfort of the marble bathrooms gives our guests the comfort of feeling at home.
Junior Suite: 45 sqm
With a size of about 45 square meters, the JUNIOR SUITES are located on various floors of the castle, they are large and comfortable. Some are located in the oldest wing overlooking the outdoor pool and bamboo forest, the others are located in the main building overlooking the park or the countryside. The furnishings are designed with the utmost care, from the upholstery of the beds to the curtains, spacious wardrobe, original and antique furniture; the bathrooms have double sinks and are in white / black marble.
Suites Chateau: 55 sqm
About 55 square meters, the Chateau Suites are located in the main building overlooking the park or the countryside. Each Suite differs in tones and nuances designed to enhance the spaces. They are equipped with a seating area and some have a balcony where you can spend pleasant moments or taste the chef’s kitchen in the privacy of your own room. Bathroom with separate bath and shower and double sink. Luxury courtesy set of the new COMFORT ZONE line, whose fragrance you will find in the SPA.
Grand Suite: 70 sqm
The one of a kind Grand Suite Comte et Comtesse Duchatel is located on the second floor of the castle with a splendid view of the countryside. Maximum comfort is assured by the spacious size of the Suite, with a sitting area with a lovely marble fireplace, a wardrobe, a boudoir located in the tower and a large bathroom with double sinks, separate shower and bathtub.
The Château’s restaurant, loyal to the best French traditions, serves fine gourmet cuisine, creative and regional, inspired by the richness of the local market featuring the foods of the sea of the Estuary of Gironde. A place where each meal becomes a celebration between the lands of Cognac and Bordeaux. The meals can be served as well in the Jardin d’hiver, a covered terrace overlooking the fountains and park. In summer, guests can enjoy meals on the terrace.

Cognathèque
A unique vaulted room with stone walls: our Cognathèque. In this favoured space we serve the products of the best nearby houses of Cognac. An antique wooden bar cabinet, several wing chairs with dark leather, some coffee tables and armchairs in front of the impressive fireplace create the perfect setting for connoisseurs. One of the most fascinating features of the Castle, a room dedicated to wine and cognac tastings, the ideal place to relax during the evening.
The hotel facilities include an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, Hammam, Jacuzzi, Sauna, 2 cabin rooms, two tennis courts and 8-hectare park, ideal for walking or cycling and free car park.
You can also find a beautician’s service for small pampering every day. As soon as we leave the SPA, our outdoor pool welcomes you for your relaxing days and the brand new “Le Jardin” Bar will delight you with snaks and light and healthy dishes. We also provide electric bicycles to enjoy our park in absolute freedom and, if you really don’t want to give up on sports, you can play tennis, run in the park or simply take a walk around.

The Orangerie welcomes our SPA, a space dedicated to wellness where you can enjoy not only a heated indoor pool and a Jacuzzi, but also a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath and a refreshing ice shower. Three cabins, one of which is double, are available for high-level beauty treatments performed by qualified professionals with Comfort Zone products. The Italian brand is at the forefront of research and above all respecting the environment and sustainability. The products are composed of ingredients of natural origin that guarantee maximum effectiveness, safety and sensory pleasantness, without parabens, mineral oils, artificial colors, sulphates, animal derivatives.
