Thanks to the various itineraries we have devised, admire the landscape as well as the four Pétrus Pomerol 1er Grands Crus Classés A châteaux, Pavie, Cheval Blanc, Angélus and Ausone (19.5 km route). At the centre of this UNESCO World Heritage Site lies Hostellerie de Plaisance, a peaceful haven in the most idyllic of settings. With a fantastic restaurant and 17 elegant rooms and 4 suites, this Relais & Chateaux member is the ideal place to relax away from city life, and is still only an hour from Bordeaux.
Hostellerie de Plaisance is comprised of two beautiful buildings connected by verdant rooftop gardens and a stylish terrace offering uninterrupted views across the rooftops of Saint-Émilion and its extensive vineyards. The rooms each share one of these views, and their large windows ensure a light and airy atmosphere. With a pop of colour added to the overall muted palette, the rooms are bright and welcoming, and supremely comfortable. Some rooms feature balconies overlooking the town, which are a fantastic option for those looking to watch the sunset in complete privacy.
Hostellerie de Plaisance has a total of 17 rooms and 4 suites. Each one offers views over the village or the vineyards, and all are elegantly decorated with a contemporary twist. Rooms are spacious, and large windows allow plenty of natural light to fill the space, ensuring rooms are bright and airy.

Main House Superior Room
The Superior room offers 31 to 33 m² of space for up to two guests. The bed is a large double bed and you may request two smaller beds in its place. This comfortable room is lovely and light with the hotel’s contemporary, stylish decor theme incorporating walls with colored confetti and of course bright sunlight.

Main House Deluxe Room
The Deluxe room is a spacious 33 to 49 m² and can accommodate two guests with one large bed or twin beds. There are three Deluxe rooms available, two have a large terrace to relax and enjoy a morning coffee. The third Deluxe Suite room features a sitting area. These rooms also have a refined contemporary decor theme which is both comfortable and whimsical, including clear wallpaper with a whimsical confetti made of colored velvet.

Main House Deluxe Room with a balcony and a view
The Deluxe room with balcony and view is a cozy and comfortable 31 m² with a double bed. It comes with a large terrace area and incredible views over the village of Saint Emilion. Stylish and contemporary mixes with refined and are expressed throughout the decor scheme of the room.

This room with 38 to 39 m² offers a double bed and a long terrace which allows for an almost panoramic view of the rooftops of Saint-Emilion along with the beautiful valley of the Dordogne. Suitable for two guests, this room is styled as the others in a contemporary yet refined and comfortable decor theme including clear wallpaper with a whimsical confetti made of colored velvet.

Main House Junior suite
At an incredible 46 m², this room sleeps up to 2 adults and 1 child. Inside it is a large bed of 180 cm, or you may be able to choose two small beds. The room decor provides just the sort of refined comfort and contemporary setting you will want to rest and relax at the end of each day. The soothing wallpaper features colored velvet confetti for exactly the right touch of whimsy. With a large terrace and private garden. you will be able to unwind from a busy day of exploring our medieval village. Inside the garden are multicolored fiberglass cows waiting to be gazed upon or photographed.

Village House Superior Room with shower
Made for up to two guests, the Superior Room with Shower contains 36 m² of space with English style decor and fabric encompassing the natural in the form of flowers and bold colors. The view from the Superior Room with Shower provides point of the streets of the medieval village or the entrance to the nearby Chapel of the Trinity. Refined comfort is yours in this modern and comfortable room.

Village House Deluxe Room
At 34 m² up to two guests will enjoy one double bed or two smaller beds and enough room to feel at home and comfortable. Deluxe rooms are modern and elegant. Two of them contain mansard ceilings and exposed beams for a classical look.

Village House Junior Suite
The luxuriant Junior Suite is 61 m² of space and style. Up to three guests will enjoy features such as the English style mansard ceiling and rustic exposed beams. There is a double bed which can be exchanged for two smaller beds in addition to an expansive bathroom with a Starck bath and shower tucked into the turret of the building. English style graces the fabrics and furniture with a theme of flowers and natural beauty to awaken the imagination.

Village House Suite
Up to three guests will enjoy the Suite which has 58 m² of relaxing and elegantly designed space. The suite welcomes you with English and Ivy floral wallpaper to accent the bedding and other fabrics throughout the room. The suite also contains a large and satisfying bathroom with Starck bathtub and luxuriant Italian shower.

Vineyard House Deluxe Room
35 m² of space provides up to two guests with a luxurious place to rest and relax. These rooms are named after the plots of the local vineyard Chateau Pavie, an estate classified as 1st Grand “A” for its award winning wines. As such, there are exceptional views of the vines and valley of the Dordogne from the windows of the room. Decor in this room is inspired by the warmth and delicate colors of the 19th-century manor homes. Breakfast is served in the room or out in the heart of the village in the Main House.

Vineyard House Suite
A large, Queen sized (200 cm) bed and a large 140 cm bed awaits up to four people (2 adults and 2 children) inside the suite. There is a spacious living room, dressing room, balcony, and bathroom. The decor is 19th century warm yet restful. Breakfasts are served in the room or in the heart of the village. The view from every window shows the exceptional vines of the vineyard and valley of the Dordogne.
Hostellerie de Plaisance boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant in a spacious and elegant setting. Overlooking the town’s main square, and with excellent service, the restaurant serves classic French dishes of the highest quality. Guests can also dine outside on the terrace, looking over the town, during the summer months. This is a great spot for a light lunch, or alternatively sit inside in the stylish and comfortable bar.

La Table de Plaisance

As a 2 starred Michelin guide gastronomic restaurant, La Table de Plaisance is renowned for its unique and creative cuisine along with unparalleled French wines. L'envers du Décor
L’Envers du Décor, the first Historic Wine Bar in Saint – Emilion in Gironde, was opened in February 1987 by François des Ligneris and passed on to the Perse family, owner of Château Pavie, in February 2017. Thanks to the restaurant, this establishment has become, over the years, the rendez-vous of amateurs and professionals of the wine of the region and elsewhere .
