Hôtel Chais Monnet is a converted cognac distillery on the banks of the River Charente, with butter-soft interiors in an oak-beamed mansion and a fine-dining restaurant in the barrel-lined cellar. Hôtel Chais Monnet was developed from one of France’s most impressive industrial sites. Located in the very heart of the town and sprawling over a massive five acres, the Chais Monnet has since become one of the region’s landmarks.
