ACTIVITIES:

On a Mediterranean beach, in a preserved natural environment opposite the Ile d’Or, between the pine and tamarisk trees, the Hôtel Les Roches Rouges benefits from a Fifties Modernist design. The immensity of the sea, mild climate and an exquisite natural environment combine to create a truly exclusive, authentic and refined setting. All rooms and suites afford views of the sea, which is breathtakingly close. Decorated with a discrete eye, these rooms are inspired by the concept of a “holiday on the coast”. Beautifully furnished, they feature vintage Provençal objects. Each room enjoys a terrace where guests are free to breakfast as they admire the sailboats dancing off the shores of the Ile d’Or.
To step into Les Roches Rouges is to step out of the world and to delight in the pleasures of Provence, its flavours and fragrances. The hotel benefits from two swimming pools, including a large natural seawater pool, a Mediterranean garden, three bars, two restaurants, one of them honoured with its first Michelin star in 2019, and an array of activities, both in and around the hotel, from an open-air cinema to ping pong, diving, petanque, yoga, hiking, cookery courses, sailing and fishing.
There are 343 in all, 39 of them suites. Let’s take for granted that they are spacious and eminently comfortable. Most have been re-done in recent times, in a style the hotel terms “1950s Hollywood glamour” – that phrase suggests something garish and a bit ponderous to me, whereas the rooms are not at all like that. They’re light, with creams and beiges and very inviting (admittedly retro) furniture … more Doris Day than Clark Gable. Which is, after all, preferable in a bedroom. Prestige suites on the seventh floor have outstanding sea-view terraces – but not all the rooms actually oversee the Med. Check this when booking. Most splendid suite of the lot, incidentally, is probably the two-bedroom Grace Kelly Suite. Don’t book it by mistake though – or you’ll need to sell the house after a couple of nights.

Standard Room
At Number 58, Boulevard de la Croisette, enjoy a refined atmosphere and thoughtful service in comfortable rooms decorated in the colours of the Côte d’Azur. On awaking, be ready to discover the city and the rest of our beautiful Côte d’Azur. In summer as in winter, the turquoise blue of the Mediterranean will enchant you and carry you off to another place for few nights.

Superior Room
You’ll appreciate the comfort of our spacious, elegantly decorated Superior rooms. Have a pleasant stay in an ambiance of warm colours that reinforce the serene spirit of the place. Comfortable armchairs await you near the windows, where you can relax, read a good book or chat. You can be certain you’ll never want to leave.

Deluxe Room
Luminous and decorated in the vibrant spirit of the glamorous style of Hollywood in the 1950s, our Deluxe rooms will charm you at first glance. Fitted with delicately-finished furniture and broad windows with a view of the Bay of Cannes, each room invites you to discover our lovely city in an uncommon way. There is a reason why stars and personalities regularly stop at 58, Boulevard de la Croisette.

One Bedroom Suite
Our one-bedroom suites take you back to the 1920s, the Belle Epoque’s halcyon period! The bright and refined décor, the soft colours and the period furniture – each detail is calculated to make your stay pleasant. Our suites comprise a bedroom and lounge and have unobstructed view of the Mediterranean. Settle onto the settee, sip a glass of champagne, relax and listen to the sound of the waves.

Two Bedroom Suite
Spend time outside of time at the Carlton… These suites, located beneath the Carlton’s cupolas, comprise two bedrooms and an adjacent salon. Representative of the hotel’s style with parquet floors, Belle Epoque furniture and a view of the sea, our two-bedroom suites will meet all your expectations. Open the windows and admire the view of the endless sea. It was in one of these suites that Grace Kelly and Cary Grant filmed their scenes during the shooting of Alfred Hitchcock’s To Catch A Thief in 1954. And because it is readily repeated that the Carlton is inhabited by the auras of all the personalities who have spent time in the hotel, you may be sure that you’ll find their traces within the walls of these suites.

Prestige Suites
Between sky and sea, the seventh floor of the Carlton unveils its most prestigious suites, spacious yet intimate, luxurious yet warm. Our Prestige suites will win you over with their discreet, elegant luxury, created with delicate fabrics and refined furniture, and make you feel at home. From their terraces overlooking the Mediterranean, enjoy exceptional service in one of these suites, each named for a star of the Seventh Art. Here, past and present blend to create a unique atmosphere, peopled with memories as only the Carlton can be.
The Carlton Bar and Terrace is legendary among those people who think a bar can be legendary. Giving onto the Croisette, the outdoor Terrace in particular, is a fine place for a drink, if only because passers-by will wonder whether you’re famous or not. Within the hotel, the Petit Bar is more intimate. The Carlton Brasserie too has a splendid terrace – and, inside, grand light surroundings under a glass ceiling. There’s a suggestion of the colonies about the place – and a rather inventive way with Mediterranean fare.

Carlton Restaurant
Exquisitely styled with marble, Carlton Restaurant serves gourmet dishes with an emphasis on sustainable Provencal produce. Complement your meal with a fine wine from our cellar. The terrace offers alfresco dining, and from April to October, you can enjoy the Carlton Beach Restaurant.

Carlton Bar
Immerse yourself in the spirit of the Belle Époque in the charming Carlton Bar. Boasting elegant furnishings and impeccable service, it is no wonder that film stars gather here during the Cannes Film Festival. Select from our extensive list of chic cocktails, fine wines, and premium spirits.

Carlton Beach Club
In the heart of the Croisette, the famous Carlton beach club and its seasonal restaurant bring together the day to day relaxing pleasures and the idle moments of a good lunch. During the weekend, a buffet well stocked with the most appetizing dishes of Provence is served.

Carlton Beach Restaurant
How to maintain a certain idea of luxury and French-style service even when one is engaging in a carefree moment of relaxation on the beach ? That’s the challenge our Restaurant de la Plage Carlton has met. The space was born along with the hotel… or perhaps the reverse is true ? Crystallising as it does a part of the memory of the place, the restaurant can provide an authentic gourmet experience between the azure sky and the calm sea.
If you’d rather relax away from the heat, book a treatment at the Cannes hotel’s beauty salon, which offers massages, facials and red carpet-worthy makeup.

Spa
We offer you care treatments, massages and make-up sessions, all with products of exceptional quality.

Fitness area
A stay at Cannes is an opportunity to relax, but also to take time to stay physically fit. That’s why we have a fitness space open 24/7 with all the essential equipment to keep you in tone ! You can also call a professional coach to help you fine-tune your Carlton Fitness program.
