On the way, you can stop at a farm producing foie gras, discover the pretty wash house and the church of the eleventh century Vielle-Tursan and finish with a visit to the Ferme des Vallons which produces the black ham of Gascony served near Eugenie.
Eugénie’s surroundings are covered by numerous hiking trails, in particular the famous Camino de Santiago (Via Podensis from Le Puy en Velay).
Located 3 km from the Prés d’Eugénie, the golf “Les Greens d’Eugénie” welcomes golfers of all levels on a course 9 + 3 holes. Private lessons are offered, as well as rental of clubs, semi-series and series, trolleys and golfettes.

Nestled among vast water gardens and rose gardens, Les Prés d’Eugénie recalls a hamlet of beautiful pastoral homes decorated with works of art, antiques and rare paintings. In this “extraordinary garden”, Michel Guérard’s refined cuisine, awarded 3 stars in the Michelin Guide, draws upon heritage, nature and the unexpected. On the edge of a meadow, an old 18th century Landes farm is now home to a thermal spa of 1,000 m² in a dreamlike setting complete with exclusive rituals. Rural, chic, idyllic, hedonistic and historic… experience the many sides of Eugénie, a romantic haven in which to indulge the senses, pamper the body and free the soul.
There are 45 spacious and elegant rooms in all – 33 in the main house dating from 1863 and another 12 split across two historic outbuildings (an 18th-century auberge and a 17th-century convent) in the grounds. Many rooms have a functioning fireplace and a balcony or terrace with huge green garden views. Legendary chef Michel Guérard, now in his mid-80s, has had three Michelin stars since 1977 and still buzzes around in chef whites and super-stylish blue patent shoes. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, cookery school, fitness studio with coach, and free bikes to borrow.

Many rooms have a functioning fireplace and a balcony or terrace with huge green garden views. Décor is French Country elegance, with an exquisite attention to detail that pampers and cocoons: a bedside vase of freshly cut roses, romantic whitewashed beams, period desk with leather blotter and thick embossed writing paper, beautiful art books to browse, a 17th-century oil painting hand-picked from the Guéraud’s personal art collection. Inconspicuous Tivoli Bluetooth radio-speaker and courtesy tray with kettle is as hi-tech as it gets. Cream marble bathrooms enjoy room-sized walk-in showers and Sisley courtesy products.

Sheltered from the heat of the sun by a canopy of plane trees, it distils a feminine and romantic atmosphere, with fireplace, paneling and ceruse flooring , bath boudoir in white marble and large dressing room.

Imperial Suites
At the very end of the Empress’s wing, nest the two most beautiful rooms of the house, the imperial suites .These large apartments, 120 and 150 m² consist of a large living room with sofas and fireplace , a bedroom, a beautiful bathroom. An opening on three cardinal points, overlooking the water gardens and the secret box garden, as well as a rich decoration of objets d’art and paintings “Empire” , make exceptional apartments that will delight lovers of beautiful things.

Legendary chef Michel Guérard, now in his mid-80s, has had three Michelin stars since 1977 and still buzzes around in chef whites and super-stylish blue patent shoes. A pioneer of nouvelle cuisine in France in the 1970s, his visionary three-course ‘cuisine minceur’ (slimming cuisine) menu – packed with vegetables, herbs, edible flowers and no more than 600 calories – continues to cast a fantastic fresh spin on gastronomic dining. A trio of richer, three to five-course menus focusing on regional dishes, celebratory dishes and the chef’s celebrated signature plats are as elaborate and fantastical as one would expect of a triple-starred chef. Produce is strictly seasonal and local where possible; wine is from the Guérard’s own own wine-producing estate, four miles from the hotel. Two other estate restaurants specialise in spit-roasted suckling pig and regional cuisine (La Ferme aux Grives; menu, and croque monsieur sandwiches and cakes (Café Mère Poule). The chef also makes picnic hampers. Room service runs from 6am to midnight.

Etoile Restaurant Michel Guérard
Michel Guérard invites you to celebrate the succulent productions of our region, with a nice menu “Terroir Sublime”, at a reasonable price, served every day, except Saturday evening. Roasted lobster, lightly smoked at the fireplace, soft pillow of mushrooms and morels with asparagus country, calf cake of the Marquis de Bechamel … so many sweet temptations to taste a naturalist cuisine, born on the embers of our fireplace.

The Great Slimming Kitchen
Imagine … a cuisine as delicious as “healthy”, respectful of the natural. An open kitchen with flavors of the great French tradition and exotic charms. You will discover such a surprise, a kitchen renewed with each meal. The Great Slimming Kitchen, created in 1975 by Michel Guérard , who precursor imagined our aspirations to well-being, has constantly evolved in 40 years.

The Grives Farm
A Gascon atmosphere and truculent , friendly service, recipes emblematic of our land and a beautiful vegetable garden … so many reasons that make the Ferme aux Grives a real institution . Its large tables d’hôtes and its garden terrace make it an appointment much appreciated by large families and tribes of friends. Beautiful chickens from the Landes and a little suckling pig roast quietly in the huge hearth where our chefs also cook. A baker’s oven simmered with macaroni gratins with mushrooms and long braised meats.

The "Mother Poule" coffee
At the Café “Mère Poule”, we enjoy gilt trout, our petulant reinterpretation of the croque-monsieur, Landes version, of grandmother’s cakes, which we slide with a good glass of wine from the property.

Loulou's Lounge Bar
At Loulou’s Lounge Bar, during the afternoon, tea is served under the benevolent gaze of the Empress, immortalized by Gustave Legray. Madeleines, gingerbread and other delicacies are de rigueur. A must as soon as fall sets in or the winter has not yet deposited his coat.
As part of its ‘Mind, Body & Soul’ programme, guests have complimentary access to a daily yoga class, herbal-infusion workshop or other mindful past-time. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, cookery school, fitness studio with coach, and free bikes to borrow. But the heart-stealer is the luxurious Ferme Thermale spa sourced from Eugénie’s hot thermal springs. To stay here and not soak in a citrus milk bath by an open fire, or float in the spa’s signature silky white mud, would be a crime.

Pool
The hotel has a heated outdoor pool. Our large heated pool is hidden in a green enclosure, out of sight.

Spa
At the Spa, Eugenie’s two thermal springs are captured in the depths of the soil, to guarantee a unique mineral composition that is perfectly free from any pollution . Old, they are dated over 18,000 years and benefit from an enrichment of minerals and trace elements incomparable. Whether it is a cure, a detox getaway or a few hours of relaxation, its 21 treatment rooms, steam room, lounges and shop promise sweet moments.

Tennis
Two tennis courts, lit at night are at the disposal of our most sporting guests. Rackets and balls can be borrowed from the Reception.

Yoga and Fitness
In the heart of the gardens, a bucolic “Fitness Cabin” offers a selection of “technogym” cardio equipment and a “kinesis” muscle strengthening device. While enjoying a beautiful view of the countryside and trees, you can follow your daily training, or enjoy a yoga class, pilates or circuit training provided by one of our 2 qualified teachers. Trained in the Iyengar method, a soft and traditional yoga that favors the quality of postures and breathing, our teachers offer sessions of one hour, for one or two people.

Kids Club
Toddlers, up to 2 years old, included are our guests . On request, a nice wooden bed with duvet and pillow will be placed in your room. To make sure you do not get cluttered during your trip, we also provide you with a bath and a changing mat, a high chair and a bottle warmer.
