PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Art Deco to the core, five-star Prince de Galles is a très belle artistic ode to 1920s Paris. Original floor mosaics in the exotic courtyard garden and rooms fashioned by contemporary French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon sparkle like new. Gastronomic dining is with one of the city’s few female Michelin-starred chefs.
  • Striking 1930s black-and-white Vogue photographs (more than 500 images) are hung on the walls of the corridors — they set a consistent art deco tone.
  • Adding to the retro vibe are the black marble floors, rich fabrics, deep ebony furnishings with pops of color and flash, as well as a magnificent painting from Tamara de Lempicka, a famous art deco artist.
  • Steps up from the fitness center entrance (complimentary for hotel guests) and past a few decorative statues is the private spa, dubbed the Wellness Suite, featuring a beautiful mosaic-tiled steam bath.
