Old World glamour meets contemporary luxury in the heart of Budapest. Wander the city in search of inspiration, then return to unwinding in opulent surrounds. The signature spa draws on Budapest’s rich history of mineral spring healing, with an indoor relaxation pool and sauna cocooned in an ice cave.
The 179 rooms (54 Superior, 55 Gresham, 51 Danube and 19 suites) are a good size and classically elegant, furnished with solid, polished furniture, and complete with safe, minibar and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. In the past, the Four Seasons had a formal, fine-dining restaurant. The hotel has more recently changed tack, replacing it with the Kollázs Brasserie and Bar, something consciously more relaxed in approach with the aim of appealing to the Budapest public as well as guests staying at the hotel. Kollázs – meaning ‘collage’ in Hungarian and reflecting the aim to marry combinations of Hungarian and international cuisine – has an interior inspired by the 1920s and an open charcoal rotisserie. I enjoyed an excellent ravioli starter and grilled fish main course.

Kollázs Brasserie And Bar
Vibrant and inspiring, our contemporary brasserie is a collage of many European culinary influences converging in a Budapest landmark against the timeless backdrop of the Danube.

The Bar And Lobby Lounge
Under a magnificent glass cupola inside the historic Peacock Passage, enjoy light appetizers and a sophisticated selection of martinis and wines.
In Room Dining
Ideal for time-zone-hopping travellers, impromptu meetings or for a quiet, private meal, our extensive menu lets you dine in style in the comfort of your private space.
Service is top drawer, of course, without being stuffy. The restaurant in particular is aiming at a more informal and friendly approach, and certainly the waiting staff got the balance just right when I ate there. As for facilities, there’s a pool, wellness centre (offering massages and other treatments), steam room, fitness room and relaxation room. There’s a limo service should you require one.

Pool
Our Spa offers a stylish, sun-filled pool in addition to seven treatment rooms, a sauna and steam rooms.

Spa
Capturing the essential nature of the mineral-rich Hungarian moor mud, this treatment is designed to deliver transforming effects. This firming and brightening treatment uses extraordinary ingredients such as diamond peptides to restore the energy of skin cells, supercharge the tissues and increase elasticity and smoothness. More than an ordinary wrap treatment, this unique body experience begins with an invigorating combination of body brushing and a sea salt exfoliation. A mineral-rich Hungarian moor mud is then applied to the entire body to detoxify, rebalance and provide the skin with essential nutrients.

Gym
Crowning the entire top floor of the Hotel, our fitness cenre combines the best of Europe’s wellness traditions with the latest exercise equipment. For extra motivation, our personal trainers offer private or couples’ sessions both indoors and out.
