Chamba Camp Thiksey - A Ladakh Luxury Camp

Chamba Camp Diskit - A Nubra Valley Camp
Cradled by jagged mountains on the road north from the Leh Valley, meet two ancient rivers – the Nubra and the Shyok. They form the enchanting Nubra Valley – an oasis of legendary merchants, mercenaries and monks who crossed these high-altitude trans-Himalayan sand dunes in search of gold, glory and God. Continuing the expedition through dramatic landscapes of enormous glaciated peaks and arid pathways, reach the tranquil yet thriving village of Diskit. Untouched by the mainstream, the village has preserved its sanctity beautifully, despite being the commercial hub of Nubra.

Kohima Camp - Nagaland
The picturesque state of Nagaland is bound by Assam in the west; Myanmar in the east; Arunachal Pradesh in the north and Manipur in the south, forming a part of what are known as the Seven Sisters, the seven states of north-east India, full of rolling hills and verdant rain forests. The Naga people, made up of 16 proud tribes, were once fearsome warriors and head hunters, who have retained much of their traditional and cultural heritage, visible in their elaborate costumes and ritual headdresses which incorporate bear skins, hornbill feathers and other symbolic accoutrements.

Jaagir Lodge - Dudhwa National Park & Tiger Reserve
Explore Dudhwa’s unique terrain on custom-made journeys, designed to perfectly fit with whatever wildlife and nature you want to see or photograph. Travel through the multiple forest reserves of Dudhwa, Katarniaghat, Kishanpur and Pilibhit, bordering Nepal to see some of the most astounding and magical animals and birds, which move freely between them. Luxuriate in the atmosphere at Jaagir Lodge, your sumptuous home-away-from-home, nestled deep in the Terai. From this oasis, take part in thrilling safaris and enjoy guided nature trails. Interact with our resident naturalists and over sunset signature beverages. Meet members of the ethnic Tharu tribe, who describe themselves as people of the forest’. Cycle around sugarcane farms, ride elephants or take boat rides to see the gharials hunting in the shallow waters. You can cross tall grasslands, shrub savanna, sal forests and clay-rich swamps, All within easy reach of The Ultimate Travelling Camp’s Jaagir Lodge, Dudhwa.
Dig into authentic, sumptuous food, in the most panoramic settings ever. Each experience promises to be unique and private. Partake of as many as 3 breakfasts, including one inside the park. Follow it up with a light lunch, served by a personal butler. End the night under the starlit sky, or sit under a Mahua Tree, lit up with lanterns. Dining indoors is a treat as well with the traditional ‘thali’. Never eat two meals in the same location.
Rural accents, like a traditional vegetable garden or baghia, with a bullock cart that doubles as buffet table, and picnic lunches under the mahua tree, enchant and delight. Cocktails and traditional Indian fare are served in the light of the moon on magical evenings on the rooftop of the main veranda and greatly enhance the beauty of fragrant Indian nights.

Breakfast
The first meal of the day takes place in the resort’s back garden with dining tables set up amongst lush vegetation. A hearty breakfast meal is laid out for guests upon a bullock cart.

Lunch
For lunch, guests may choose from a few dining locations, from the poolside, to a picnic under a Mahua tree or watering hole.

Dinner
Dinner begins with exotic cocktails made from the sap of the Mahua tree, and fine Indian wines and beers. Later on, guests can enjoy a sumptuous dinner under the stars, dining on the resort’s beautiful terrace, amidst a live spit-roast, while being entertained by traditional folk dances.
Amenities include in-room Ayurvedic & Western spa treatments, a pool, a library, & yoga lessons.
The Bandhavgarh National Park is a 448 sq. km. area renowned tiger reserve. Nestled between the awe-inspiring Vindhya and Satpura ranges, the park features a dramatic landscape, with tropical forests and woodlands and steep rocky hills with flat grasslands in the valleys. Taking its name from the highest hill in the area, Bandhavgarh National Park has the highest density of tigers in the world. Packed with legends, its rugged jungles of sal trees and thickets of bamboo open out to sunlit grasslands and knolls, and hide the ruins of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.
The Bandhavgarh National Park has a large biodiversity, with over 37 species of mammals, more than 250 species of birds, 80 species of butterflies, and multiple species of reptiles. Apart from exploring the sunlit grasslands and its jungles of sal trees and thick bamboos, experiences at the Bandhavgarh National Park also include interactions with its indigenous Gond and Baiga tribes. These tribes are known to be among the oldest surviving in India. Exploring the wild forests without disturbing its serenity, is best done atop an elephant. This unique safari gets one closer to nature like no other safari does. To take home memories of this place, stores inside the Bandhavgarh National Park offer souvenirs like key-chains, t-shirts, wooden tribal handicrafts, and paintings from the Bandhavgarh School of Art.
