The two-bedroom lodge mirrors the same facilities as that of the onebedroom tented retreats, inclusive of a 23 sqm (248 ft) salt water pool and offers impressive rainforest and Keliki valley views.


Terrace Tent
Our five Terrace Tents overlook the rice terraces and rainforest from large outdoor decks, with daybeds and poolside sun loungers around a salt-water plunge pool. Inside, timeless charm meets sumptuous modern comforts such as the hammered copper freestanding bath and art and antiques from the owner’s private collection.



Rainforest Tent
Scattered around the camp inside the rainforest, our Rainforest Tents have views across the lush surroundings, which can be enjoyed from the outdoor salt water pool and large deck. With some set into the sloping terrain, the proximity to nature and the beauty of Bali is respected with the subtle yet luxurious comforts within the tent.


River Tent
Looking out to the Wos river, considered a sacred and spiritual place in Ubud, the River Tents are the place to be soothed to sleep by the closeness of nature and the water. Individually styled, each retreat is inspired by the vocations of early explorers, enhanced by modern amenities and thoughtful touches including organic bathroom products and beautiful hammered copper baths.



Keliki Valley Tent
Curl up on a daybed or relax on a poolside lounger next to your saltwater infinity pool. Our three Keliki Valley Tents enjoy unobstructed views across the beautiful valley and rainforest from the large outdoor deck and dining area. Inside, explorer-inspired design and modern comforts are combined to create a private, luxurious sanctuary for our guests.


The Lodge
The Lodge boasts an exotic, oriental Chinese colourscheme and design blended into the terraced landscape. It offers impressive unobstructed, lush green Keliki valley views, an open plan living room, a master bedroom with a king sized bed, a twin bedroom with two double beds, two bathrooms (one featuring a Japanese bath tub and one with a hand-hammered copper bath) and a large wooden deck with two large daybeds. A private 19 sqm (205ft) private salt water pool further compliments this accomodation that is best suited for an adventurous small family or the well-heeled traveller seeking stylish and lavish accommodation and tranquility amongst untouched surroundings.
Food & Beverage options include Mads Lange – the camp’s dining room, Api Jiwa – an intimate and highly interactive Asian barbecue and The Mortar and Pestle pool bar. The Camp Fire is not merely the place to meet the local storyteller over pulled hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows but, weather permitting, an equally great venue for casual dining.Inspired by the spirit of discovery, our Ubud restaurants add an unexpected twist to traditional flavours, influenced by the jungle setting and local heritage. Seasonal, sustainably-farmed ingredients are the priority at Mads Lange, while Api Jiwa cooks up intimate, authentic Asian barbecue food. Mads Lange
Mads Lange is our camp’s split-level dining room named in honour of the famous Danish spice trader and peacemaker of Bali Mads Johansen Lange, nicknamed ‘The White King of Bali’. The focus is on seasonal and sustainable dishes created using locally-farmed ingredients and influenced by the historical spice trail. The Camp’s split-level tented dining room is named in honour of the famous Danish spice trader, entrepreneur and peace maker of Bali, knight of the Order of the Netherlands and recipient of the Danish Gold medal of achievement – Mads Johansen Lange, nicknamed “The White King of Bali”. Offering a contemporary European homemade and home-grown epicurean dining experience driven by seasonality and sustainably farmed produce.

Api Jiwa
Inspired by the Sanskrit word for soul of fire, this is a highly interactive and intimate Asian barbecue that serves authentic and new age bites in a theatrical enrichening neck to tail, farm to table culinary fashion. Expect no elaborate menu as the Chef will tailor a delectable sensory journey according to your desires.

The Mortar And Pestle Bar
The poolside Mortar & Pestle Bar is at your service with light and refreshing snacks alongside a wide range of cocktails, a menu curated to reflect the harmony of Mother Nature’s ingredients and sounds, handcrafted using traditional methods.

The Camp Fire
The Camp Fire invites you to spend an evening under the stars, relaxing around the fire and listening to fascinating tales shared by a local storyteller over camp favourites such as hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows. Some nights the Camp Fire will host silent black and white movies depicting Bali during the 1800s, on other nights you will be serenaded by our jungle orchestra.

The Officers Tent
The Officers Tent, exclusive to residents of Capella Ubud, Bali is the camp’s living room where morning coffee, afternoon tea and the daily evening cocktail and canapé ritual are served. The unobtrusive and highly personalised services of a dedicated Capella Personal Assistant further complement your stay.
There is a 30 metre salwater outdoor pool and a tented gymnasium –The Armory, for guests who wish to work out in style and yoga and Pilates by design, whilst an invigorating weekly schedule, with a diverse range of low and high impact camp excursions and activities further complement your exercise regime. Adventure wellness, pampering spa treatments designed around the moon phases, spiritual and sound healing as well as in-retreat rituals are on offer at Auriga Wellness. On-site activities include complimentary yoga, nature walks and cycling. Island experiences – sunrise volcano climbs, visits to ancient temples, helicopter trips to Nusa Pedina – can also be arranged.
