Two bars, one indoor and another poolside, enable guests to enjoy drinks and cocktails while cooling off from the Tuscan summer sun.
There’s a large outdoor swimming pool (for adults only) with views of the marina, and a gazebo housing a handful of exercise machines. Guests can use a much larger gym at La Vela Bach Club, located along the seafront a short drive from the hotel, with free weights and cardio-vascular equipment. There is also complimentary use of beach sunbeds and parasols. Staff can organise plenty of activities including horse riding, sailing, swimming lessons, water-skiing, and winery tours. The hotel has two electric bikes for guests’ use. I found the service to be attentive but not overbearing.
