ACTIVITIES:
The hot air balloon ride takes place only with good weather conditions. The balloon will fly at an altitude between approximately 300 and 500 meters (1000 and 1200 feet). The lenght of the flight and direction are determined by the wind and cannot be controlled by pilot. The duration of the flight time can be reduced or extended for safety reasons; this will not influence the cost of the flight.
The starting point is in the historical town of Montalcino, which dominates the valleys of the Orcia, the Arbia and Ombrone river. Through the Brunello vineyards, a landscape soaked with history and with stunning views. On the way guests can stop in the winieries for a wine tasting.
A unique experience following the Florentine artist Roberto Guarnieri, handling specific materials and antique techniques to make a contemporary artwork.
Enjoy a visit at a local olive oil mill and taste the authentic Tuscan flavours. The experience lasts about one hour and a half, including: guided tour at the olive mill, tasting of extra virgin olive oil, aperitif with local cheese, honey, bruschetta and red wine.

For dining, the property has two restaurants with authentic and creative Tuscan cuisine paired with a selection of the property’s Castello Banfi wines. La Taverna serves traditional lunches in a historic setting with an ancient vaulted ceiling. While dinners are served in the Sala dei Grappoli, with an elegant and refined atmosphere.

Located in the shadow of the historical Castello Banfi, La Sala dei Grappoli welcomes you in an elegant and refined atmosphere. In the summer, weather permitting, dinner is served al fresco on the terrace from which the spellbinding sight of the lights of the historical Castello Banfi can be enjoyed. A seasonal menu allows you to select among traditional Tuscan dishes, presented with a modern touch and accompanied by outstanding Banfi wines.
