The descent of the Adige aboard a rafting boat is a new way to admire the charm of a city built and developed on the banks of its river, an unforgettable experience able to give points of view and surprising glimpses and accessible to all because – in spite of appearances – it is the safest way to cross the city.

The Nicolis Museum gives life and witness to hundreds of perfectly functioning cars, many of which have been personally restored by Luciano Nicolis, all restored to their former glory. It is surprising to see how the automobile has marked people’s lives over the last two centuries, how it has contributed to the march of women towards autonomy and independence, how it has crossed the cinema by delivering unforgettable images of races, loves, betrayals, escapes , travels, challenges that all had, in one way or another, a car at the center of the scene. And how not to think about the emotions of sport, the thrill of speed, the legendary champions whizzing by the wheel of their racing cars, man and car, one thing, up to the finish, up to victory.

The Panoramic Terrace rooftop bar is my favourite place in Verona for a summer aperitif. As the only roof-top bar-restaurant in town it’s the perfect place to watch the sun go down over the hills across the river and the red roofs of the old town dotted with ancient towers. The grill restaurant serves high quality meat and fish cooked on the roof. The indoor restaurant, beautifully candle-lit by night, lies beneath a medieval arcade on the ground floor and serves traditional Italian cuisine.
The ambitious project of the Duetorrihotels group continues to enhance the beauty and artistic heritage of the building of the Due Torri Hotel, including marble, silks, brocades, parquet, precious furnishings. There is a privileged corner of one of the most romantic places in Italy where only observing the roofs and lights of the city becomes a true sensory experience.
