Fendi Private Suites is ideally situated right in the heart of Rome—a stone’s throw from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, and within walking distance to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Vatican City. You can now not only shop at Fendi’s flagship boutique in Rome, but stay there. The third floor of the Maison’s stunning home, Palazzo Fendi, has been transformed into the world’s very first Fendi hotel. Comprised of just seven impeccably designed suites, the hotel epitomizes the ultimate in elegance and exclusivity. With exclusive access to and immersion into the Fendi world, it redefines luxury for sophisticated customers who are looking for privacy as well as a unique experience in the heart of Rome.
Dominating the buzzing Via dei Condotti, this sumptuous palazzo originally belonged to the noble Boncompagni Ludovisi family. It has been the prestigious headquarters of Fendi since 2005. Palazzo Fendi is a magnificent architectural counterbalance to the sumptuous Trinità dei Monti church atop the Spanish Steps, and has been restored and restyled to create the temple of a beautiful design and high-end luxury. As well as shopping, this noble residence in the heart of Rome offers unparalleled accommodation.
Fendi’s philosophy combines innovation and tradition, artisanship and luxury. So do our seven Fendi private suites. Our suites reflect that very Italian ability to merge the very best of different eras and styles—while providing the highest standards of luxury. Their design was guided by the classic Fendi aesthetic of strong contrasts and surprising juxtapositions, history and imagination, artisanship and art. The result: an elegant dialogue between old and new, from the layout of the apartments right down to every detail of the décor.
The lovely furniture from the brand’s interiors wing, Fendi Casa, has been artfully offset by statement pieces, including Hans J Wegner chairs and vases by Pia Wüstenberg. The individual touches represent serious opulence with a local accent: walk-in showers in dramatic rosso lepanto marble; unique fur artworks above each bed; photographs of the city by Karl Lagerfeld, creative director at the company.
Palazzo Suite 1
Have all of Rome at your feet! One of our most spacious and comfortable Fendi suites, Palazzo Suite 1 provides views over Rome’s iconic Trinità dei Monti Church that aren’t just breathtaking—they can be enjoyed from the comfort of the king-sized bed. The apartment’s elegant living area, practical writing desk and large walk-in wardrobe, all exclusively designed and created using the very finest Italian materials, make Suite guests feel immediately at home. Fendi heritage is in every detail, from the work tablets created by Fendi’s historic in-house fur atelier to Karl Lagerfeld’s platinum prints of Rome’s spectacular. Bath time is no less luxurious: choose from the discreetly positioned window-side bath or a walk-through, red Levanto marble shower.
Palazzo Suite 2
With enchanting views over the Via dei Condotti and Piazza di Spagna, the bright Palazzo Suite 2 features two separate, connected areas: an elegant master bedroom and a welcoming living area that blend comfort and luxury in perfect harmony. Karl Lagerfeld’s original prints of Rome’s fountains and a work tablet created by Fendi’s historic in-house fur atelier add extra notes of exclusivity. The spacious bathroom is decorated with top-quality Italian materials, from the Carrara marble walls and walk-through shower to the fine porcelain washbasins and bath. The Fendi Casa Makò cotton satin bed linen guarantees blissful sleep, while the soft twisted-yarn bath linen and Diptyque toiletries make every bath a true indulgence.
Deluxe Suite 3
Deluxe Suite 3 boasts not one, but two enchanting views: one over Via del Corso as far as Piazza del Popolo and the second over lovely Via Tomacelli. The windows flood the room with natural light, illuminating the Suite’s oak flooring and sophisticated furnishings. Exclusively designed by Fendi Casa architects, the suite showcases works from the Fendi archive: original Karl Lagerfeld photographs from “The Glory of Water” series and a fur masterpiece created by a Fendi artisan that adorns the headboard. The discreet, elegant bathroom features a walk-through shower decorated with luxury Italian marble and two separate porcelain wash basins. The Fendi Casa Makò cotton satin bed linen and soft bath towels, along with the Diptyque toiletries, are a cut above in style and quality.
Deluxe Suite 4
Refinement and style set every corner of this suite apart. Exclusively designed furniture and contemporary items are juxtaposed with touches of Italian vintage, like the elegant Fendi Casa lamp collection, Karl Lagerfeld’s platinum prints and an artisanal masterpiece from Fendi’s fur atelier that adorns the master headboard. The bathroom, entirely finished in exquisite red Levanto marble, features a walk-through shower, indulgent Diptyque toiletries and sumptuous twisted-cotton Fendi Casa bath linen. If required, Deluxe Suite 4 can be expanded by connecting to the adjoining Deluxe Suite 5 to form one large apartment for sharing with family or friends—in Rome, as at home.
Deluxe Suite 5
Deluxe Suite 5 is the best choice for those in search of privacy: a perfect oasis for romance, relaxation or concentration—but just a stone’s throw away from Rome’s social life. The sleeping area and living area are discreetly divided by a glass panel, creating a spacious, modern space where guests can read, work or entertain as if in the comfort of their own home. The top-quality, all-Italian materials, meticulously detailed finishes and exclusive furnishings are in keeping with the carefully-selected wall art: original Karl Lagerfeld photographs that pay homage to Rome’s fountains and the artisan Fendi archive masterpiece that adorns the headboard.
Overlooking the Via dell’Arancio—with its artisan shops, buzzing fruit and vegetable market and the aroma of freshly baked bread from the bakery—Deluxe Suite 6 lets you watch the glamour of everyday Roman life… from the luxury of your own private nest. Equipped with every modern comfort and finished with the same attention to detail as the larger suites, Deluxe 6 reflects the high standards of quality and design that set Fendi hospitality apart. The exclusive furnishings, Italian materials and luxurious Fendi Casa accessories ensure that guests experience an unforgettable Roman stay.
Our master suite: stay in the Corner Suite and enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime sensation of being the heir of an aristocratic Roman family. Located on the corner of Largo Goldoni and Via di Fontanella Borghese, this spacious, extremely elegant suite is divided into two separate areas to provide guests with maximum privacy. The regal bedroom area features four windows, illuminating it with golden Roman light. Awake in luxury amidst Fendi Casa’s Makò cotton satin bed linen and masterpieces from the Fendi archives: original Karl Lagerfeld photographs that pay homage to Rome’s fountains and a unique work tablet created by artists from Fendi’s in-house atelier.
Breakfast is served in the Zuma Lounge on the fifth floor. In the late afternoon and evenings, Rome’s up-and-coming glitterati flock here for cocktails. On the fourth floor is the Zuma restaurant, an izakaya-style Japanese restaurant by chef and restaurateur Rainer Becker.
An aperitivo with a view – that’s what a vacation in Rome is all about. Visit the top two floors of Palazzo Fendi for an unforgettable meal at Zuma. The Japanese fusion menu is authentic but assuredly modern, with twists and surprises that delight the palette.
