ACTIVITIES:

A Short walk from the beautiful Villa Borghese, Hotel Lord Byron is a hidden gem beautifully decorated in 1930s style. Expect a friendly welcome and superb service from the staff, a gourmet restaurant serving contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, a club-like lounge and wine bar, just minutes from Via Veneto. Hotel Lord Byron has a somewhat romantic air yet it is undeniably urbane. Wander through the public rooms and take a closer look at the fascinating art collection by renowned Art Deco painters such as Maurice Paul Joron and Nicholas Granger Taylor. The rooms and suites also reflect the 30s’ ambiance with mahogany and rosewood furniture, exuberant fabrics and vintage marble baths.
Take a taxi back to the Hotel Lord Byron and enjoy a light supper before going to the Teatro dell’Opera to see an opera, dance or ballet performance. Decorated in an intriguing Art-Deco style that echoes the splendours of the 30s, the Lord Byron offers excellent quality hospitality, combined with excellent cuisine and impeccable service, to give guests that warmth and intimacy that located in a private house. The Lord Byron evokes the ancient heart of the city of Rome, providing at the same time all the most modern comforts, to give its guests an unforgettable experience.
The 31 guest rooms move the style forward a few decades, embracing a more 1940s and 1950s ‘Golden Age of Hollywood’ glamour. Glossy rosewood and mahogany, plush velvet, smoked mirrors, and deep jewel tones create a sumptuous backdrop for prints of Marilyn, Audrey and Jackie; spacious Carrara-marble bathrooms with soft robes and designer bath products are diva-decadent. All rooms offer the standard amenities of a luxury hotel, including stocked minibars, Nespresso machines and top-shelf linens, but for a bit of outdoor luxe, opt for a garden-level Prestige Patio room or the top-floor Panoramic Suite with a terrace overlooking Rome.

When there are just a few tables booked, dinner is served in the intimate bar lounge; on busier nights, guests are seated in the elegant adjacent dining room, decorated with the family silver and art collection.
