PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS:
- This landmark hotel looks out onto the open water of Cala di Volpe Bay, boasting one of the most idyllic settings in Costa Smeralda. Sophisticated Mediterranean design, home-grown food, and top notch facilities – including a private beach and Shiseido spa – make for a luxuriously exclusive retreat.
- The Hotel Cala di Volpe’s exterior was conceived by his creator ‘sculptor of houses’ Jacques Couëlle to look like an ancient Mediterranean fishing village – a private compound of interconnecting terracotta rooftops, turrets, porticoes and terraces abloom with bougainvillea.
- From crystal-clear turquoise water, pristine beaches and untouched nature to funky beach clubs and a new holistic approach to well-being. Costa Smeralda and its surroundings offer a lot of exciting excursions, places to be discovered and hidden corners to be explored.
- The Barbecue Restaurant is one of the most famous spots on the whole of the Costa Smeralda; even Princess Diana and Jackie Onassis have anchored up their yachts in the hotel’s private marina to sample the restaurant’s laidback Sardinian cuisine.
- Dramatic rock formations—windswept into sculptural reliefs by the Mistral—are as characteristic of the area’s astonishing beauty as the fragrance of laurel, oleander, and juniper carried on the ocean breeze. The meandering coast forms hidden inlets of aqua blue water perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
- From a height of 344 meters including 200 overlooking the sea, the promontory, can be reached on foot through the lovely Cala Moresca or by boat through the enchanting coast of Cala Greca.
