Located at the centre of the village of Positano, Le Sirenuse is situated beautifully above the sea creating gorgeous vistas. It is an ideal spot for luxury, peace and silence. Situated on the Amalfi Coast, the red-hued Le Sirenuse overlooks the Mediterranean from its hillside perch. Once a family summer home, the 58-room resort retains an intimate residential feel with antique furnishings, eclectic artwork, and colorful tiles. With descriptions such as this it is unsurprising that Hotel Le Sirenuse is considered one of the most romantic and beautiful hotels in the Amalfi Coast. Rooms and suites are white-washed with hand-painted tile floors, antique furniture, and vaulted ceilings. Modern bathrooms are decorated in tile and marble. Select suites offer private balconies with breathtaking views of the bay of Positano.
The award-winning La Sponda offers light, locally sourced Mediterranean cuisine. During the warmer months, the outdoor Champagne Bar & Grill serves seafood and pasta dishes. Enjoy lunch on the terrace at the Pool Bar & Restaurant. Watch the sunset with a cocktail at Franco’s Bar. Unwind on a deck chair by the outdoor pool. Le Sirenuse Spa uses natural products in relaxation and beauty treatments. The Aveda Aroma Body Polish Treatment comprises of a customized exfoliation with Aveda oils, a full body massage, and scalp and foot reflexology. The spa also includes a sauna, biosauna, granite steam bath, and fitness center. In the summer, explore the Amalfi Coast in the resort’s private wooden boat. Stroll through the narrow streets of Positano. Spend a day on the Spiaggia Grande beach, or walk a coastal path to the tranquil Fornillo beach. A stay at Le Sirenuse is really a very special treat, it is such a unique hotel with outstanding views that will remain with you forever.
Nearly all 58 rooms are unfussy, whitewashed with tiled floors, classical prints and highly-polished, antique furniture. Beds are large and comfortable with a choice of pillows, and bathrooms are fresh and modern with gleaming white tiles, light marble surrounds and Eau d’Italie toiletries (created by the daughter of one of the Neopolitan owners). Almost all rooms, suites and junior suites look out over the bay of Positano. Most have a private terrace or balcony and all have white-washed walls, vaulted ceilings and hand-made tiles on the floors.

The Michelin-starred La Sponda restaurant is about as romantic as a dining room can possibly be. Entirely lit by 400 candles (the waiters carry torches so diners can see the menu) it has creeper-clad walls, stiff white tablecloths and grandstand views over the twinkling resort lights and sea. A varied Italian menu includes hors d’oeuvres from €35 (£27), including marinated amberjack with courgette flowers and Controne beans, seasoned with a clam sauce; pasta dishes from €30 (£23) and fish (John Dory, sea bass or lobster) or meat dishes (veal ‘pizzaoila-style’, lamb with Mediterranean herbs, or duck with orange leaves and foie gras) from €40 (£31).

La Sponda Restaurant
The light Mediterranean cuisine of our Michelin-starred La Sponda restaurant is based on fresh local ingredients and inspired by the great culinary traditions of Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Infused by the leisured elegance of Positano’s dolce vita, La Sponda is illuminated, in the evening, by four hundred candles that create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Champagne Bar & Grill
Our Champagne & Oyster Bar enjoys breathtaking views over Positano. Sumptuously furnished and candlelit, it is open in the evenings from May to mid-October, weather permitting. It is the ideal place for a glass of champagne millésimé or a cocktail made to perfection, some oysters, shellfish, and fish carpaccios, all accompanied by the seducing music of our resident dj. Should you decide to stay and dine here, a mouth watering menu offers grilled and fried mediterranean specialties, pasta and rice dishes and other delicacies.

Pool Bar and Restaurant
Our Pool Terrace is full of lemon trees and flowers. At the bar tables, overlooking the sea and shaded by a bamboo awning, lunch is served from 12.30 to 6pm.

Franco's Bar
The latest addition to Le Sirenuse, Franco’s Bar is a stylish, panoramic al fresco terrace that tips its hat to a golden age of fine cocktails and quality champagne. The bar’s fresh and striking decor and contemporary artworks, commissioned from a raft of local and international talent, pay homage to the late Franco Sersale, whose careful design curation is still evident in every corner of the hotel.
Service occasionally a touch over-familiar, but mostly as poised, polite and self-assured as you’d expect in a hotel of this category. There are however some lapses at busy times: a long wait to be seated in the Oyster bar was one example. But despite these shortcomings during my stay Le Sirenuse remains one of Italy’s great hotels. A compact pool terrace has outdoor loungers and is shaded by lemon trees.

Pool
Surrounded by lemon trees and comfortable deck chairs, the swimming pool offers a peaceful atmosphere in which you can unwind.

Spa
Le Sirenuse Spa was designed by the renowned Italian architect, GAE AULENTI. Her design, that makes use of teak wood, white marble and stainless steel, steps away from the Moorish architecture prevalent in the hotel and creates a modern and essential space. The Spa includes a Sauna, a Bio-sauna and a granite Steam bath.

Gym
The gym is fit with TechnoGym cardiovascular machines and weights as well as stretching and yoga mats.
