Founded in 1836, the QC Terme Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi is a majestic thermal spa resort & wellness retreat in the Italian Alps. Its pink Art Nouveau exterior is dotted with red shutters and flower-filled balconies, and the interiors are just as grand, with opulent Venetian-style halls with stucco & frescos. The 74 guestrooms are filled with handmade furniture; Platino Rooms come with panoramic views of the valley or mountains and bathrooms lined with white Carrara marble & hydromassage bathtubs. But the real draw here is the spa. It’s divided into four sections, with open-air baths, natural hot springs, pools and a vaulted basement home to 70 thermal facilities. Traditional Italian dishes are served in the Salone dei Balli, which occupies the hotel’s exquisite ballroom and features polished floorboards, an original fireplace, soaring dome ceilings & Murano glass chandeliers.
