Referencing historical elements of Venice and The Gritti Palace, the hotel’s two Heritage Suites are a tribute to Venice’s patrimony of Opera and Cinema on he first and second noble floors pf the palazzo. The Coppa Volpi Suite is named after the trophy awarded each year by the Biennale of Venice. It boasts an impressive collection of films that have won this prestigious award. Black and white photography referencing films and the recipients of the Coppa Volpi throughout the Venice International Film Festival’s history add to the atmosphere. This suite features a 55″ BeoVision 7 Entertainment System with BluRay and BeoLab Speakers.
The La Fenice Suite honours the city’s famous opera house, Gran Teatro La Fenice. Jacquard and sumptuous Lorenzo Rubelli custom fabrics that were created originally for La Fenice Theatre feature alongside a rare antique hand-painted harpsichord, Neoclassical and Empire style furniture, and antique carpets. The centrepiece of the La Fenice Suite is a restored 1705 harpsichord adorned with finely painted mythological scenes. This suite also features a 46″ Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 Tv and BeoSound 4 Radio/ CD and BeoLab Speakers. These suites may connect with Giglio Prestige guestrooms to form two bedroom apartments.

The Gritti Terrace

The Gritti Terrace is the place to go for an indulgent lunch, for afternoon tea, or for Bellini and Negroni cocktails and a fresh glass of champagne. Take pleasure in a unique Grand Canal experience with delicious al-fresco dining on The Gritti Terrace. Stretching along the waterfront, this popular place offers one of the most spectacular views in town over Punta della Dogana and the Santa Maria della Salute Basilica. The Gritti Terrace continues to be the social hub of Venice, stretching along the waterfront on one of the most beautiful sections of the Grand Canal.
Open from April through October, weather permitting, the terrace is a popular place to spend an afternoon immersed in the view of the city’s legendary monuments. The menu comprises appetizers, light salads, pasta, risotto, and platters of seasonal seafood or meat that vary based on Executive Chef Daniele Turco’s creativity. Sip delicious afternoon tea, a crisp glass of champagne, or a refreshing Bellini, Negroni, or Basil-i-ca cocktail, which was inspired by the enchanting Santa Maria della Salute church just across the water.


Bar Longhi
Renowned for its elegant decor and atmosphere, Bar Longhi truly delights with its splendid Grand Canal terrace. With its cosmopolitan atmosphere and gracious Venetian décor, Bar Longhi transports visitors to an age of elegance and sophistication. Indulge in afternoon tea complete with finger sandwiches and dainty, cream-filled pastries, or share the buzz as locals and international guests mingle to enjoy a cocktail or glass of champage. Cherished for its friendly atmosphere and elegance, the Bar Longhi features paintings belonging to the school of the celebrated 18th-century Venetian artist Pietro Longhi, after whom the bar takes its name. Hand-sculptured mirrors, Murano glass appliqués and a bar counter of carved polychromatic marble complement the refined atmosphere.

Riva Lounge
Based on the materials used in the design of the Riva Yacht, the look and feel of the 36-seat, 55-square-meter Riva Lounge on the Gritti Palace’s iconic terrace reflects the Riva Aquarama Lounge at the Monaco Yacht Club. Inspired by timeless style, the Riva Lounge recalls the elegant decks of the Italian yachts from the 1960s, with such details as polished wood and shiny stainless steel. Its unique materials and design are accompanied by its charming location on the Grand Canal, with sweeping views from Santa Maria della Salute church to Punta della Dogana. The Riva Lounge is one of the most glamourous meeting places in Venice for an aperitif as the sun goes down or a late-evening cocktail.


Redentore Terrazza Suite Terrace
