Facing the Atlantic Ocean, this clean-lined, contemporary, 59-room hotel stands on the site of the old Hotel Atlântico, a landmark in the glamorous golden years of the Estoril coast. Its white-on-white interiors and breezy open spaces brings the sky-meets-ocean views into the heart of the hotel. The hotel is perfectly placed within walking distance of the early 20th century Casino in Estoril, allegedly an inspiration for Fleming’s Casino Royale, and neighbours the tiny Monte Estoril station from which trains run regularly along the coast to Lisbon, 45 minutes away. There is a coastal promenade in front of the hotel which is popular for early morning walks past golden coves and rocks to Cascais, about 20 minutes away.

Bicycles are available to rent at €11 (£10) per day which allow you to explore the area with the sea breeze in your face.
