ACTIVITIES:
As with most Cape Grace experiences, commissioning a magnificent piece of jewellery at Platandia is a personalised affair. Guests are treated to a consultation with Rob and his jeweller, in which they will select the finest tanzanite and diamond stones, settings, designs and special touches – all hand-sketched in 3D likeness by the attentive duo on hand. Each jewel also comes with a full history of its origins and Rob ensures that every piece is evaluated and certified according to the highest of international standards.

Staff are always on hand to guide guests through the numerous choices of activity on offer in and around Cape Town, from the lovely beaches to Table Mountain or Robben Island. The hotel has a decadently beautiful motor yacht available exclusively for guests to hire.

Accommodation comprises 120 rooms and suites all elegantly styled and generous in size. All rooms have iPod docking stations and in the Suites and Penthouses there is an X-Box 360. They all have flat screen, high definition TV, satellite television channels and selected radio stations, a fully stocked private bar and mini-deli as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
