Your knowledgeable and professional ranger conducts early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives, in search of Africa’s big game.
Those with a passion for wildlife photography will be able to get various tips from their ranger on taking the perfect picture, while on their game drive or walking safari. Our rangers are avid fans of photography, many of them having entered renowned international and local competitions with great results. Please do not hesitate to ask your ranger for assistance in this regard.

Leopard Hills offers eight suites each with a private deck and plunge pool. Bedrooms feature comfortable beds with cotton linen, down duvets and pillows and mosquito nets. They are air-conditioned and overhead fans add to the comfort in the African heat. Bathrooms feature double indoor and outdoor showers and have large windows. Finally, spacious lounges with breathtaking views overlooking the bushveld offer the perfect place to relax and unwind with a good book.



Luxury Glass fronted Suite
Built on a hill overlooking a natural waterhole, Leopard Hills boasts eight newly renovated and exquisitely decorated luxurious glass-fronted suites. Complete with their own sundeck and rock plunge pool, the suites offer superb views of the African bushveld beyond. The suites are generously spacious and immense in stature with air-conditioning and overhead fans. The breathtaking romantic bathrooms include double indoor and outdoor showers, which open to a glorious view of the passing cavalcade. The comfortable beds are fitted with beautiful crisp percale cotton linen, down duvets and pillows, and gracious mosquito netting.
You can enjoy sumptuous world cuisine with an African twist in the dining room and the lodge boasts and extensive wine cellar.The bar and lounge entices every guest to a pre or post-dinner drink – mixed by the barman using the finest ingredients – and fireside chat with your friendly ranger. A nightcap of the finest whiskey, port or South African amarula would be the perfect way to the end off a perfect day. The dining area consists of two heavy-set mahogany tables, offering ample space and comfort while enjoying the most decadent of dining one could imagine. Dining Room
Every meal is a special occasion using the freshest locally produced ingredients. Breakfasts are served on the main deck are notable in charm and fulfilment. Lunches are an occasion, served under big shady umbrellas. The personalities of the chef and his team ensure decadent dining and creative settings with every dinner. Indulge in “soul food” full of flavour around the world, finished with a touch of Africa in every meals.

The bar and lounge entices every guest to a pre or post-dinner drink – mixed by the barman using the finest ingredients – and fireside chat with your friendly ranger. The esteemed wine cellar underneath the dining room is a treat for the avid wine connoisseur, as well as the learning amateur, and is brimming with racks of celebrated local wines.

Boma Dinner
The traditional Shangaan boma is used on alternate nights, and is a truly memorable way to experience an evening under the African night sky. On arrival at the boma through a path of flaming torches, guests will be welcomed by their ranger, who will greet them with a drink and a pre-dinner appetizer, before meeting around the fire to tell of exciting adventures had on the game drive that afternoon. Guest’s tables are complemented by candles and rustic hurricane lamps, which complete the full experience of true African dining.

Outside Dinner
The outside dining area consists of two heavy-set mahogany tables, offering ample space and comfort while enjoying the most decadent of dining one could imagine.
