AtholPlace Hotel offers five superior suites and four deluxe suites. All nine suites have been individually designed, providing a sanctuary of comfort and tranquillity. The large suites, all with en-suite bathrooms, are extremely spacious and no suite is smaller than 50 square metres. The deluxe suites are interconnecting as well, making them ideal for families travelling with children. AtholPlace Villa has been created to give you a temporary home of your own in the amazing City of Johannesburg. The homely space includes three Deluxe rooms each with their own full bathroom, one Junior Room en-suite (perfect for our young guests) and a superior living and dining area – accommodating a maximum of six adults and two small children. The Villa is booked on an exclusive use and fully inclusive basis.

We have five Superior Suites at AtholPlace Hotel. They are all situated in the Main House. The Spacious suite include King-sized beds / Twin beds & en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, double vanity & underfloor heating. Large doors open onto private balcony. Aircon, flat screen TV & DStv, Wi-Fi, digital safe, desk, lounge chairs & sofa and Nespresso machine & mini bar.
Deluxe Suite
We have four Deluxe Suites at AtholPlace Hotel which are interleading. They are situated in the gardens, separate from the Main House. The Deluxe suites include King-size beds & en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, double vanity & underfloor heating. Large doors open onto private balcony. Aircon, flat screen TV & DStv, Wi-Fi, electronic safe, desk and minibar.
AtholPlace Villa
AtholPlace Villa has been created to give you a temporary home of your own, in the amazing City of Johannesburg. The homely space includes three Deluxe rooms each with their own full bathroom, and one Junior en-suite room, perfect for a maximum of two Junior guests. The Villa can accommodate a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 8 guests (max 6 adults + 2 children) AtholPlace Villa is booked on exclusive-use basis and is inclusive of breakfast and drinks in the Maxi-bar in the Villa kitchen.

An intimate and open plan dining area, the restaurant at AtholPlace Hotel caters to both the young and the old, for those with delicate palates and for those that enjoy rich and spicy flavours. All meals are expertly prepared in our private kitchen by our in-house chef. Sumptuous breakfasts, light lunches and a fine dining experience in the evenings, all of which are served in the elegant restaurant, on the outdoor patio or under the trees in the tranquil seclusion of our landscaped garden. AtholPlace Restaurant is open to the public and pre-booking is essential.
The Bar
The owners of Morukuru Family love their wines. This not only means that our housewine selection is excellent, but the Morukuru Family wine cellars are stocked with some of South Africa’s finest wines, many of the bottles here are collector’s items purchased at the celebrated Nederburg Auction or at the Cape Winemakers Guild, and simply unavailable to purchase anywhere else.
