The Saxon Luxury Villa has seven villa luxury suites each with private balcony, and a large shared lounge, bar, kitchen and dining room as well as terraces and heated pool. Located in the peaceful gardens adjacent to the Saxon Hotel, the Saxon Villas are our exclusive boutique offering. These Villas offer our guests the unparalleled ambience of boutique-style accommodation with all the services of a larger hotel.

The three stand-alone Saxon Luxury Villas offer the ultimate African hospitality and can be booked in their entirety for sole use by our guests who prefer the privacy and exclusivity of a garden setting. Each Villa has a main lounge and dining room in addition to a breakfast area and bar, with dedicated 24-hour butler service and chef. The Villa guests can enjoy the privacy of the terrace and plunge pool overlooking the gardens, or alternatively make use of the main Hotel facilities. A private elevator leads from the parking area to each of the Villas.

The double storey Villa Two and Villa Three each offers seven Villa Luxury Suites downstairs, as well as four Villa Presidential Suites upstairs. There is great beauty to be found in simplicity. It exudes intimacy and sophistication. Grei at the Saxon invites you to indulge in delicious dishes created by Head Chef, Candice Philip. Grei replaces rush with serenity. Our cuisine is succulent and textural, with herbaceous and natural themes. Grei, which loosely translates from Portuguese as “a society of people” blends together Chef Candice’s love of unusual pairings, her passion for herbaceous flavours and her signature style of intricately-plated dishes. Appropriately, her menu has the aroma and flavour of the herbs running through it. Dishes feature unusual pairings and natural, succulent flavours. The menu highlights the three key flavours from each dish.

The Cigar Lounge with its extensive library is an intimate, sophisticated after-dinner retreat for lingering over a good cigar and your favourite single malt. Our cigar selection presents a wide range of different sizes and flavours for the enjoyment of our guests.
