ACTIVITIES:
Fancourt’s golf courses were designed by a dynamic team spearheaded by Gary Player and the estate’s owner, Dr. Hasso Plattner. Recently voted among the World’s 10 Best Golf Resorts on CNNGo, Fancourt has supplemented its courses with its own Golf Academy, practice facilities and every modern convenience, allowing golfers to immerse themselves in the five-star Fancourt experience.
The Fancourt hotel houses a fully equipped Pro Shop. From high-end branded golfing apparel to clubs and accessories, Fancourt’s Pro Shop offer golfers everything they need to maximise their sporting experience. The boutiques also provide facilities for golfers to book time and check in on the courses.
Fancourt has four beautiful mountain facing tennis courts. Two of the four courts are floodlit to enjoy evening play. Complimentary tennis rackets and balls are available at the Leisure Centre.
Big mouth black bass exists in abundance in the fishing dams throughout the Fancourt estate. This freshwater species is popular amongst fishing enthusiasts and presents plenty of opportunity for novice and experienced anglers. Complimentary fishing rods and tackle are available at the Leisure Centre and this can be enjoyed on the resort on a catch-and-release basis.
A number of outdoor leisure trails can be found on the expansive Fancourt Estate. The resort encompasses 2.5km, 5km and 10km paved trails which are fit for walking, jogging or biking.
The Fancourt Kidz Club at the Leisure Centre offers fully supervised activities for children aged 3-10. Speaking to the needs of the independent traveller, The Manor House’s Homewood Suites combine classic style with all the modern conveniences that business and leisure travel necessitates. Henry White’s
Henry White’s restaurant offers a warm and rich classic local culinary heritage with a modern, all-encompassing dining appeal. Throughout the space, a luxurious sophistication prevails – a nod to both the culinary experience and overall ambience. To complement the design, Henry White’s chefs have created a four-course choice menu.

La Cantina
La Cantina provides the perfect setting for relaxed family dining. With its traditional Italian menu, La Cantina treats guests to an authentic Mediterranean culinary experience ranging from homemade pasta to succulent steaks. Its extensive menu includes meat and fish with an extensive wine list and its decadent dessert favourite, the tiramisu. Housing a wood-fired pizza oven, La Cantina serves what guests believe to be the tastiest, thin-based pizzas in town.

Monet’s
Monet’s restaurant offers a café bistro atmosphere overlooking the rolling greens of the Outeniqua golf course with beautiful Outeniqua mountains as the backdrop. From coffee to bubbly with plenty of choices in-between, the menu boasts both local and seasonal artisan cuisine in a warm and colourful environment.

The Club Lounge
The Club Lounge at Fancourt is the destination of choice for golfers on a break or visitors looking to indulge in some club style food. Fondly referred to as the 19th hole, the Club Lounge overlooks the 18th green of the Montagu golf course and has become the customary end point after a good game.
The property features an outdoor pool, fitness centre, hot spring bath and garden. The Manor House at Fancourt offers a terrace. A variety of popular activities are available in the area around the accommodation, including hiking, cycling and fishing.


Pool
The Leisure Centre is home to two swimming pools. The outdoor pool features an invigorating Jacuzzi and a baby pool for the little ones. You can also find a heated indoor pool on the lower level of the Leisure Centre. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are open from 06:00 to 21:00.
Spa
Fancourt is home to its very own oasis of sensory bliss – an award-winning spa designed to provide guests with a deeply relaxing experience. Its range of holistic skin and body treatments are supplemented by complimentary facilities which include a Roman Bath and jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and tepidarium.

Gym
The active lifestyles of gym enthusiasts are catered for by the Fancourt gym – a state-of-the-art workout area. This facility provides a comprehensive range of Technogym equipment for cardio exercise and weight training as well as specialised fitness programmes. These programmes include yoga and pilates. Our mens’ and ladies’ locker rooms provide spacious areas for guests to unwind after their workout. Separate saunas and lounge areas lead off from the pristinely maintained locker rooms.
