In the restaurant VUE, connoisseurs enjoy culinary delicacies, dishes to combine and share. Head chef Gregor Zimmermann invites diners to sample his cuisine, which places produce and craftsmanship center stage. The Bellevue Bar has always been a meeting place for politicians and diplomats, it featured in John le Carré’s spy novels, and it is also a casual meeting place for a late-night dinner for the whole of Berne. And your shopping expedition under Berne’s famous arcades starts right in front of the hotel.
Bern is the Capital of Switzerland and the Bellevue Palace stands right next door to the Bundeshaus, or Federal Palace. Standard rooms
Standard rooms are designed for one or two persons. These airily elegant options span 19-46 m² – space enough for box-spring beds, corner units and desks – and overlook either the tranquil courtyard or the old quarter of Bern. Naturally unlimited WiFi and air conditioning are provided. The decor in standard rooms is classic, while the loft on the fifth floor has parquet flooring.

Standard Double Room
This category features a Elite King bed or two Twin beds and has a separate sitting area and a working area with international plug adaptors. Views to the interior court or the city of Bern. This room includes complimentary WiFi Internet, flat screen TV with digital channels, air conditioning, bathroom with real stone furnishings, Molton Brown Amenities and floor heating, bathtub and/or shower.

Deluxe Double Room
This category features views to the Bernese Alps and the river Aare. Balcony on request. Deluxe Room
Our spacious deluxe rooms, which are suitable for one or two persons, overlook the River Aare or the Bernese Alps; some rooms also have a balcony. Ranging in size from 27-48 m², deluxe rooms come with box-spring beds, desks with international plug sockets and corner units. Unlimited WiFi is provided, while air conditioning units ensure a comfortable temperature. Deluxe rooms are classically designed with antique furnishings and stucco ceilings; some can be combined with deluxe junior suites or singles next door.

Junior Suite Superior
Our superior junior suites, which span 42-58 m², have separate living rooms with desk and seating unit, bedrooms with box-spring beds and inviting bathrooms; they overlook either the tranquil courtyard or the old town. Superior junior suites are classically laid out with items of antique furniture; Nespresso machines are provided while the air conditioning system ensures a pleasant temperature.

Junior Suite Deluxe
Our deluxe junior suites offer guests views of the Bernese Alps and the River Aare. Ranging in size from 46-60 m², these suites have bedrooms with box-spring beds, living rooms with corner unit and desk, antique furnishings and stucco ceilings. Air conditioning units and Nespresso machines raise the feelgood factor yet further. A number of deluxe junior suites can be linked to neighboring deluxe doubles.

Deluxe Suite
The BELLEVUE PALACE deluxe suites are places to unwind in style. Spanning 53-81 m², the suites combine classic design, items of antique furniture and stucco ceilings with every modern convenience. Separated from the living rooms, the bedrooms offer box-spring beds; quality fabrics in contemporary color schemes produce an inviting elegance. All suites command imposing views of the Alps; some have balconies while others can connect with neighboring doubles to form double suites. This category includes a loft suite with sloping ceiling and parquet flooring.

Tower Suite
Our premier suite enjoys the best location, commanding sensational views of the Bernese Alps and the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as the River Aare. The 77 m² tower suite offers an amply proportioned living space with circular lounge, separate bedroom, private fitness room (with cross trainer, bicycle, yoga mat and weights) and two bathrooms. Furnished in classically traditional style, the suite also features modern-day amenities such as box-spring bed and air conditioning. Stuccoed ceilings and fabrics and carpets in contemporary tones underpin the classically modern mood.

Presidential Suite
In the suite made for presidents and kings, every guest can feel like a VIP. The 158 m² suite accommodates a spacious lounge, separate dining room, two bedrooms with bathrooms and a private kitchen. The view across the Alps is matchless, taking in the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as the River Aare. Classic design, a smattering of antique furniture items, stucco ceilings and choice fabrics in contemporary tones emphasize the luxurious elegance of the Presidential suite. The suite also promises every modern amenity and comfortable box-spring beds.
Dining Satisfy your appetite at the hotel’s restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dining is also available at a coffee shop/café, and 24-hour room service is provided.

Bellevue Bar
The legendary Bellevue Bar is an atmospheric place to meet for a business lunch or after-work drink, surrounded by both hotel guests and local politicians, executives and media-types. The bar menu includes light breakfast dishes, paninis and sandwiches, burgers, fish and desserts. Ask the friendly barkeeper for his drink recommendations.

The sauna
At the end of a busy day of a holiday or business trip, there is nothing more soothing than a visit to our Finnish sauna: in such restful surroundings, it is easy to let the day melt away. The sauna, which has separate areas for men and women, is exclusively open to guests from 14 hrs to 22 hrs every day.

Gym
The gym has everything guests need to keep in shape: modern Excite+ cardio machines with TV and connectors for Smartphones, Element+ weight training machines and a lounge with self-service gym bar. Personal trainers are also available on request.
