Immersed in beautiful nature just 10 minutes from the center of Lugano, after a careful renovation, the “la Pirouette” stable looks modern and welcoming: ideal for the well-being of horses (and riders), the structure has supervised details that make equestrian sport even more enjoyable. Even those who enjoy relaxing horseback riding will find the ideal accommodation in the “La Pirouette” stable.
We have 35 horse boxes , all recently renovated to the most modern standards. Brightness and cleanliness are our strengths. We own 6 school horses for all the rider’s needs , from the beginner to the more experienced. Our qualified staff takes care of your horses 7/7 days , on request bringing them to our pastures (10’000 m2) next to the stable . Many other services are available upon request.
We have 6 “school” horses and two ponies for the little ones, to satisfy every level of rider training. We offer private or semi-private lessons both to riders who already own a horse, and to those who wish to try their hand at the dressage discipline with our already trained horses. We prepare our young students to obtain the Knight’s Patent (a prerequisite for being able to participate in the first competitions), and a progressive higher education. We follow the interested students in the path that leads to the Regional License exam (qualification to participate in the highest level competitions in all of Switzerland). The riding school is structured to cover any formative need of our students. Children or beginners who wish to start riding can be taken over by Sonia, who through her patience and experience is able to reach amazing targets in a relatively short time. Elena, on the other hand, is in charge of preparing for competitions and of those who want a higher level of training with their horse. The synergy between horse and rider is expanded until reaching the maximum level.
Our structure annually hosts at least one dressage competition at national level. About 300 enthusiasts reach our team on race days. We offer races for any category, up to the Grand Prix. A refined and distinguished atmosphere will welcome you making these days dedicated to dressage special . We boast the presence of international and national judges recognized for professionalism and competence throughout Europe.
