Our century-old neoclassical home is a tranquil sanctuary in the middle of Istanbul’s Old City, Sultanahmet, bounded by the mystic waters of the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus. While just steps away from top historic attractions such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, our 65-room Hotel offers a calming space filled with charm and elevated Four Seasons care from our more than 200-person-strong team.
Tucked into the maze of Istanbul’s old town lies the Four Seasons Sultanahmet, a lovely hotel with only 64 rooms. The Four Seasons historic architecture creates a variety of unique rooms, all nestled around a beautifully landscaped courtyard.
Formerly a neo-classical Turkish prison, the building has been renovated into a luxurious 64-room boutique hotel. The building is formed around a central open courtyard, with a lovely garden and an al fresco restaurant in the centre. The rooms and suites are very spacious and unique in design, decorated in a traditionally Ottoman style. Many rooms have outstanding views, with the highlight being the hotel’s large roof terrace looking directly over the beautiful Hagia Sophia and old town in one direction and out towards the Bosphorus in the other – probably the best views in all of Istanbul!
Offering 65 guest rooms and suites, the Four Seasons provides an intimate atmosphere in the heart of this exotic city. The hotel’s historic architecture creates a variety of unique rooms and suites, all nestled around a beautifully landscaped courtyard. All rooms feature a refrigerated private bar, large plasma TV, and are equipped for wired and wireless internet. Lavish marble bathrooms include a deep soaking bathtub and separate shower, small LCD TV and separate WC.

Deluxe Suite
Returning travellers will be delighted each time to discover the distinctive configurations of our three Deluxe Suites, all with a distinctively Turkish theme and neoclassical flourishes.

Four Seasons Executive Suite
Lead a meeting with colleagues in the living room while your bedroom remains a private sanctuary behind doors and large French windows let in birdsong from the courtyard.
The restaurant, Seasons, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. AYA is the hotel’s own rooftop bar, serving drinks along with light fare. 3907 square feet (363 square metres) of event facilities include conference rooms, and other business amenities include a 24-hour business centre. Additionally, you’ll find free WiFi in public areas, a sauna, and massage/treatment rooms.

Seasons Restaurant
Take a seat in our glass-enclosed courtyard or outside on the terrace, surrounded by our immaculately manicured garden. Either way, you’ll feel transported to a whole new world as you dine on Chef Savaş Aydemir’s elevated take on Mediterranean cuisine.

The Lounge
Our lobby-level lounge comprises three distinct spaces – an intimate dining room with fireplace, a piano room with original artwork and a winter garden – and is the place to come for light lunches, afternoon tea and specialty cocktails.

A’ya Rooftop Lounge
With the iconic Hagia Sofia as a backdrop, our rooftop lounge is the perfect place to mingle with friends while savouring sunset mocktails or Turkish wines by the glass.
Service throughout the hotel is everything that you would expect for a luxury hotel with truly international standards – prompt, efficient and friendly without being obsequious. It helps that there are some 200 staff serving guests staying in just 65 rooms. Facilities include a health club offering Balinese massage treatments but if you want a hammam or to use a pool you’ll have to take advantage of the free transport (around 20 minutes) to the Four Seasons Bosphorus across the Golden Horn from Sultanahmet, where extra charges apply.

Spa
Relax from head to toe. This full-body treatment stimulates circulation, eases pain and promotes well-being with acupressure and essential oils.

Fitness area
Open early and closing late, our Fitness Centre is filled with free weights, cardio machines and strength-training equipment to keep you on top of your game. Complimentary water, fruit, morning coffee and newspapers remain at your disposal.
