(all ages): an amazing 13-minute helicopter flip over the Victoria Falls, along the Zambezi River, and over Zambezi National Park where you will likely spot wildlife on the plains below Zambezi Spectacular (all ages): encompassing the Flight of Angels, this 25-minute helicopter flight then continues downstream taking you for a thrilling flip over the Batoka Gorge.
(3 years and older) feeling like one of the early explorers, make your way through the riverine forest and along the falls with your guide giving insights into this environment and its epic history.
(6 years and older): rope bridges and cable slides take you through the forest canopy and whizzing out over the Zambezi rapids, where the falls’ spray is just visible beyond Victoria Falls Bridge.
(4 years and older): taking a running jump into the air, you will soar over the 200m/655ft-wide Batoka Gorge with the mighty Zambezi River gushing 120m/390ft below – and earn serious bragging rights.
(all ages): experience the local people’s way of life and warmth of their hospitality when visiting this community, including its Masuwe Primary School, which is given support by Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel.
(all ages): settled on the Zambezi Explorer’s Signature Deck, served drinks and snacks, this leisurely trip along the Zambezi River is an idyllic way for you to soak up the last of the sun’s rays and toast another adventure-filled day in Victoria Falls.

Understated elegance, neutral tones and classic touches are the name of the game at the Stanley & Livingstone, Victoria Falls’ first boutique hotel. Named after the European explorers synonymous with the area, this intimate accommodation has elements they would recognise like glowing lanterns, wooden shutters and leather travelling trunks. And its location is one they would likely approve of too: amid the manicured gardens of the Victoria Falls Private Reserve, a 2 500-hectare Big 5 conservation area that borders Zambezi National Park. The reserve is earmarked as a designated Intensive Protection Zone for rhinos, a truly special area for these endangered gentle giants.
In addition to staying in a beautiful locale overlooking a popular waterhole, the Stanley & Livingstone also has the benefit of complimentary shuttles to Victoria Falls International Airport and Victoria Falls Town. This bustling settlement is home to a range of adventure activities like white-water rafting, bungee jumping and bridge swinging. The main attraction is, of course, Mosi-oa-Tunya or ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ to give the Falls their traditional name. The views are most impressive from the Zimbabwean side, millions of litres of water gushing down a wide and deep precipice to form the biggest waterfall in the world by volume.
The lodge’s main building is approached via a path through a manicured lawn and nestles behind some trees. It has a thatched roof, high ceilings, and large windows that create a light and airy feel. The restaurant features tables covered with spotless white cloths, while beautiful glassware and chandeliers add a touch of class. The lounge area contains plenty of sofas covered in colourful cushions, which contrast nicely with the white walls and beamed ceilings. The bar area, decorated in cream and green, has further seating, with tables for your drinks. Head outside to the large patio area and you will find tables and chairs for outside dining, shaded by large umbrellas to protect you from the sun. The cool blue swimming pool is surrounded by lounge chairs, should you wish to sunbathe. Altogether, the lodge is comfortable and well planned out, so you have everything you need while you enjoy your stay!
Each of the 16 suites at The Stanley & Livingstone has a comfy bedroom, a living area, and a private patio for viewing wildlife at the neighbouring waterhole. The bedrooms are spacious and luxurious, with carpeting underfoot and plenty of storage space. The en-suite facilities cleverly combine modern and Victorian styles, providing a decadent feel whether you relax in the bath or take a quick shower. Each suite is air conditioned and has a wide range of amenities, including a television and DVD player, a telephone, a safe, and a mini-bar. Guests choose from a double suite, a twin suite, an interleading suite (these have one double and one twin bed), or the honeymoon suite, which boasts superb views from its flush toilet! All options have free Wi-Fi.
